Hey, my name is Dr. Timothy Johnson from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I first heard about Clay and his team from their podcast, the one he hosts with Dr. Robert Zellner. I was really impressed with what he had to say and reached out to them for business coaching. I went to a business conference and kind of became hooked. I’ve learned a lot in the process.
The main thing I’ve learned is about search engine domination. I’ve learned the importance of being at the top of search engines such as Google and YouTube and Amazon and it’s really changed our business another thing that’s helped that he’s taught us is systemization and processes in terms of Just making sure to do the small things every day. And so I would definitely check out his new book,
Search Engine Domination.
Thank you.
My name is Dr. Christopher LaCroix.
I work at VivaMed in Greenville, North Carolina. I’ve owned it since 2015. We’ve been seeing more patients, more referrals. The phone’s been ringing off the hook. We’ve gotten a lot more people in in a quick manner so that we’ve been able to grow our business
to add a new doctor, new procedures, and much more employees to be able to take care of just all the new referrals that we’ve had. It actually didn’t take very long at all, but just in a few quick months doing Google reviews we started seeing an increase in phone calls and the number of referrals. We had people telling us that they found us on the web for the first time, which was great. After about six to eight months with all the different articles and content that we’ve been writing and they’ve been helping us with, we started ranking number two and
number three on the Google web page and the TriPak, I think as they call it, and it’s greatly increased our revenue as well as, just like I said, daily referrals and just overall community awareness of our business.
My name is Dyer Maroukas. My business is Newcastle Homes LLC, and we are located in Northwest Indiana, town of St. John. It’s done two things. It gives us a lot of instant credibility with our clients.
They are much more excited and interested to work with us right off the bat, a lot less reservations. And number two, it’s given us a steady stream of incoming leads. And you know, you used to wait for the phone to ring once in a while, but now it just rings regularly, which is great. You know, of course, you get the whole range of leads, but there’s definitely been some
very good leads where you can just jump on them and work with them right away. I think it took about six, seven months to start getting real steady results. It could have been even faster than that, I think, about maybe four months.
Hi, my name’s Mike Fulte.
I’m from Oklahoma City, and I own Lakeshore Plumbing Company. They’ve helped us develop a hiring system that really works. They’ve helped us get from the very bottom of Google to the top in about six months.
We get most of our calls from about a 10-mile radius. And with our pricing system, we’ve really been able to take advantage of what’s available to us. They’ve helped build a structure in our business that’s allowed us to take vacations without having to worry about losing revenue
and have a leadership in place to keep it all running smoothly. I’m in Destin, Florida. I haven’t shaved in three days. I’ve got a company in Oklahoma City that’s still making money and I think that says it all.
Hey, this is Dustin Huff.
I’m with Keystone Harbor Marina. We joined Thrive back in January and have been working with these guys for about seven months. During that time period, we have moved up our Google rank through reviews and SEO processes that we’ve compiled through these guys.
Our leads have gone from about four week to now 165 a week. So the process works. So we started back a couple of years ago and began the process and went for about six months and and then stopped. I will tell you from experience once you begin you have to stay with it as long as you continually do this week in and week out month in and month out you’ll continually grow your reviews and you’ll also continually grow your revenues so
it’s important to stay with it. Google reviews are paramount and content is King So as long as you stick with it
Your revenue will grow and your business will grow. Thanks
Hello, my name is Roy Cogs. I’m the owner of our Seattle’s fleshes and the garage These are auto repair facilities and with the garage It’s my second store and that one ate about twelve hundred dollars a week for three years awesome so I came in with Thrive 15 and they got my SEO correct and we hit the top of Google took about four to six months and in eight months we were in the black not eating $1,200 a week so I actually had to increase $1,200 a week and then within 14 months we actually
are about 60% up. So number one is can they find you? Number two is when they find you, do you have any reviews? And it brings people in over and over and over and over again. We average 21 new customers a week, and Google is what brings them in.
You’re good.
My name’s Ramey Stanley.
I’m the owner of Best Insurance.
We’ve had good results with Google since we started coming to Thrive. Six months or so we’ve made our way to the top and we’ve gotten a lot more leads to work our business on Google.
It’s definitely a good thing.
Hi, my name is Debra Worthington and I own H2Oasis Flip Center and T-House in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Google reviews are so important to my business. First of all, Google searches are the number one way that most customers find me. And with flotation therapy, they really want to read what other people are saying. It took me a little less than a year to really get my review number where I was comfortable, where I feel like I really was strong and dominated my own market and then even beyond. So getting my employees on board and making a concerted effort to really work my reviews has really
resulted in increased business and satisfaction all the way around. Hi there I am Molly Frazier co-owner and operator of the School of Respect, a martial arts school in Hillsborough Oregon. I share this business with my husband and our family. It’s a family owned and operated business. We heard about Clay Clark back in May, and it was after watching and enjoying a Patriot Street Fighter interview, all about COVID and how the projections were false, the PCR tests are falsely calibrated,
and that COVID is completely treatable with ivermectin, butadenide, and hydroxychloroquine. I got down, people. Okay, so what I want you to know today, guys, SEO, super important, super valuable, business changing, okay?
That’s what I’m here to talk to you about. We were dying with the COVID influence on our dojang. In Oregon, we were not only mask mandates, but lockdowns. We had to go to Zoom. It was a hard stop for our business. We weren’t even, we were just, could we just maintain? And we couldn’t even maintain. So down we were going, down, down. So after we watched the video, we called the company, we called Thrive Time, we called Clay, and he allowed us to be one of his clients.
And we feel blessed and honored to be a part of his team because things that we never anticipated having to go through happened to us, and never did we ever want to use Google. Google was the last, furthest thing from our minds. Google reviews, whatever, content, whatever, video reviews, whatever, we didn’t care about anything,
nothing Google related, duck, duck, go. But what we found with Clay Clark’s team and our coach, Miss Julia, is that they absolutely have their finger on the pulse of business growth and business success, okay? So listen when it comes to SEO, you guys, it has changed our business.
It is changing our future.
We have hope.
We are already, in four months’ time, 63% growth. That, unbelievable, okay? Then, not to mention, it’s not as hard as it seems, okay? Content, get your content up there. Get your Google reviews, talk to everyone. Everyone that walks in the door, just talk to them.
Google review, get your phone out. I’ll show you how to do it, right? Call old clients, you know, have you ever given us a Google review? Okay, there’s that video reviews Do you know how excited people get when you ask them to do a video review for you? So look at me right now. I’m so excited to do this review I love it so much because I love clay Clark and I love Julie and I love the team out there
So I want to do it so they want to okay, then you have your video clips. Easy peasy, okay? Do your video clips. Your content, you get your 3D of your business location. It’s all super important, okay? Follow the guidelines. Get number one on the SEO report. Get number two. Page one, page two on the SEO report. It’ll make you so excited and so happy because you know what follows? Is you get the customer that says, you know why I’m at your
school right now? It’s just because you’re number one on Google. That’s the only reason I’m here. And that happens over and over again. And because Google, believe it or not, as little respect as I have for Google, Google, to them, is a stamp of approval on us on our business. Okay?
Google says you’re the best, you’re the best. Right? And if all your Google reviews are these beautiful representations of what you offer and what you do for people, they can’t wait to read them. Then they want to meet you.
It’s really very special. And it’s so special and so wonderful that we have had to open up our location so that we can accommodate all the growth that’s happening as fast as it is. And we’re having to change all our systems because it’s one thing when you meet your,
here’s my, I’m meeting that financial goal, I’m meeting it. Now, no, I’m not just meeting it. Now it’s blowing the doors off, guys. And so, it was a one year goal, double R business. One year goal. Guess what it is now?
Six month goal. We’ve had to refocus, we’ve had to totally redefine what even we hope for. So, anyway, I hope you’re listening. Try it for yourself. I’m telling you the truth,
but you don’t have to believe me. Just try it. Give it your very best effort. Get your team involved, get your partners involved, and do this thing with all your heart, mind and soul, you will be shocked and in awe
of what this will produce in your business and in your life. Okay, Clay, Julia, we love you guys. We love you all. Team Thrive Time, we love you all so much and we do, we pray for you every day. We pray angels around you every day and that God will give you perfect vision into the future.
Hey, my name is Thomas Carlson and I am the owner and founder of Full Package Media.
Being on top of Google has really helped our business by gaining new clients and also that kind of social proof for when we reach out to clients via cold calling, online marketing, stuff like that, and people look at us on Google. They see all of our reviews, they see our reputation, they see our photos. It really makes them have trust that we’re a good vendor, a good provider, and that we’re going to do a good job for them as well. It took us a long time to get to the top. We had some competitors in the area that have been here forever,
but through a lot of just diligence and persistence and hard work, we got there. It all paid off. It’s paying off now. It pays off every day. We get at least one or two new clients every day from Google. So doing SEO, writing articles, doing podcasts, getting those reviews for two and a half, almost three years now, it’s now really starting to pay off and really pay the dividends.
My name is Myron Kirkpatrick and I own White Glove Auto in Bixby, Oklahoma. Being top of Google has affected our business tremendously. I mean, it’s made things so much better just knowing that we’re on the top of Google makes it so much easier for our clients to type in their certain keywords or certain things that they’re searching for. If it pertains to our business, we’re the first ones on that page.
What typically happens is most people will just click that top link on that page and go to that website, and that’s going to be us. That does affect us a lot. We get a lot of phone call traffic. We get a lot of website traffic. It doesn’t just happen right off the bat.
Of course, it does take a little bit of time. You know, we have so many keywords that are in our business and there are some keywords where we rank top of Google on really quick. But there are other keywords that have taken us a year, a year and a half to start becoming top of Google on. And those keywords that are tougher to get are keywords that are usually most common
between you and your competitors and you’re trying to overcome that. So it does take some time on some of those real common keywords and some other keywords that aren’t so common, maybe you can come on top of Google on pretty quick. But overall, it has tremendously helped White Glove Auto.
And I would suggest that everybody take Google seriously, and definitely try ranking on top of Google on.
Aloha.
I’m Jean Breed, Arizonaís highest and most reviewed motivational speaker. Iím coming to you today from the beautiful island of Maui. Iím here in paradise because my business has risen to the top. How did that happen? Well, early on in my business I employed the services I provide. have a budget and a need for the services I provide.
90% of them turn into closed sales. And that means more business. Hey, my name is Bronson Schubert. I’m a state farm agent in Edmond, Oklahoma. And I first heard about Clay and his team on the podcast. I had a friend of mine that introduced me
to the podcast show. And I listened to that for a couple months before I even knew anything about the conferences or the coaching program. Then I went to my first conference last year and quickly signed up for the program. And so, Clay, thanks for everything you’ve done.
Just wanted to share with you about the call scripting and all the scripts that we’ve created for the agency so far and how much of a game changer that has been for me and my team. You know, in the beginning, sometimes a team can have a little bit of apprehension on the call scripting, but once they get used to it, they’re actually a fan of it because it allows them to have a set agenda and a set thing that they say every time.
Also, for me, it allows me to coach at a higher level. In the past, I would have to just coach everybody individually because they were all saying things in a different way. And so now we can all coach to the same play that we’re trying to run.
So it’s working really good. And we have our trainings every week on the scripts, where we just had an hour training session this morning, role playing the script. And then next, the merit-based pay that I have for my team is really good for the right people, and they love to win.
They know when they work hard and they do well, they get rewarded for it. So that part’s been great. And the Google reviews, I mean, now we’re the highest rated insurance agency in Oklahoma, and probably the highest in the region.
And the Google reviews has helped us tremendously. People are calling our office wanting to buy insurance from us without even talking to us yet just because of what other people have said about us. So that part has been awesome. And then lastly, like the group interview has been a total game-changer for me. In the past I’d block off like an hour to interview like all these candidates and over half of them wouldn’t even show up.
You know, now I’m running anywhere from four to eight people in the office every single week and able to see a lot of people and use my time a lot more wisely. It’s allowed me to hire two people in the past two weeks that I wouldn’t have otherwise gotten. So thanks Clay, thanks for your team, thanks for everything you do.
Hey I’m Ryan Wimpey, I’m originally from Tulsa, born and raised here. I’ve definitely learned a lot about life design and making sure the business serves you. The linear workflow, the linear workflow for us in getting everything out on paper and documented is really important. We have workflows that are kind of all over the place, so having linear workflow and seeing that mapped out on multiple different boards is pretty awesome.
That’s really helpful for me. The atmosphere here is awesome. I definitely just stared at the walls figuring out how to make my facility look like this place. This place rocks. It’s invigorating. The walls are super…it’s just very cool. The atmosphere is cool. The people are nice. It’s a pretty cool place to be. Very good learning atmosphere.
I literally want to model it and steal everything that’s here at this facility and basically create it just on our business side. Play is hilarious. I literally laughed so hard that I started having tears yesterday. And we’ve been learning a lot. Which, you know, we’ve been sitting here, we’ve been learning a lot, and so the humor definitely helps, it breaks it up.
But the content is awesome, off the charts, and it’s very interactive, you can raise your hand, it’s not like you’re just listening to the professor speak. The wizard teaches, but the wizard interacts and he takes questions, so that’s awesome. If you’re not attending the conference, you’re missing about three quarters to half of your
life.
You’re definitely, it’s probably worth a couple thousand dollars. So you’re missing the thought process of someone that’s already started like nine profitable businesses. So not only is it a lot of good information, but just getting in the thought process of Clay Clark or Dr. Zellner or any of the other coaches, getting in the thought process of how they’re starting all these businesses, to me, just that is priceless.
That’s money. Well, we’re definitely not getting upsold here. My wife and I have attended conferences where they upsold, where it was great information and then they upsold us like half the conference. Now I don’t want to like bang my head into a wall. And she’s like banging her head into the chair in front of her.
Like it’s good information but we’re like oh my gosh I want to strangle you shut up and go with the presentation that we paid for and that’s not here. There’s no upsells or anything so that’s awesome I hate that. That makes me angry. So glad that’s not happening. So the cost of this conference is quite a bit cheaper than business college. I went to a small private liberal arts college and got a degree in business and I didn’t learn anything like they’re teaching here. I didn’t learn linear workflows. I learned
stuff that I’m not using and I haven’t been using for the last nine years. So what they’re teaching here is actually way better than what I got at business school and I went what was actually ranked as a very good business school. I would definitely recommend that people would check out the Thrive 15 conference. The information that you’re going to get is just very, very beneficial. And the mindset that you’re going to get, that you’re going to leave with, is just absolutely
worth the price of a little bit of money and a few days worth of your time.
I’m Rachel with Tip Top K9 and we just want to give a huge thank you to Clay and Vanessa
Clark.
Hey guys, I’m Ryan with Tip Top K9. Just want to say a big thank you to Thrive 15. Thank you to Make Your Life Epic. We love you guys. We appreciate you and really just appreciate how far you’ve taken us. This is our old house.
Right? This is where we used to live a few years ago. This is our old neighborhood.
See? It’s nice, right?
So this is my old van and our old school marketing. And this is our old team. And by team, I mean it’s me and another guy.
This is our new house with our new neighborhood. This is our new van with our new marketing. And this is our new team. We went from four to 14. And I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past.
And they were all about helping Ryan sell better and just teaching sales, which is awesome, but Ryan is a really great salesman. So we didn’t need that. We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out into systems, into manuals and scripts, and actually build a team.
So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to 10 locations in only a year.
In October 2016, we grossed 13 grand for the whole month. Right now it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd, we’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month, and we still have time to go. We’re just thankful for you,
thankful for Thrive and your mentorship, and we’re really thankful that you guys have helped us to grow a business that we run now instead of the business running us. Just thank you, thank you, thank you, times a thousand.
Hello, my name is Daniel with Daniel’s Heating and Air here in Amarillo, Texas. The way Google has affected my business, we have got a lot of calls from Google. Right now it’s July and we’ve had the best month ever. And it took us about eight to ten months to get on top of Google and I’m glad we did. Thanks.
Hey guys, my name is Luke Owens and I own The Hub Gym in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. And, you know, we started seeing those numbers increase and we also have seen our membership increase. So in about, um, I don’t know, two years or so, we’ve gone from about 700 members to now over 1,800.
My name is Mesa Bemis and our business is Precision Calibrations and we have finally reached the top of Google. It took us about six months to get here and we’ve actually been maintaining this position for about a year now, but the growth that has come with it is absolutely unbelievable and much more than we expected. We’re now people’s very first call when they’re looking for local calibration services and
that has given us opportunity to expand our business into things that we were not doing before as well as maintain the growth. So we are growing wildly and I truly believe it’s because we are at the very top right now, so it pays to be at the top
Well my name is John cook I own a countertop business in Spencer, Indiana the name’s quality services I would say our sales in last six months are up roughly 30% over last year
So definitely a good thing
Hey guys, I’m Seth with Tip Top K9 Oklahoma City and we’ve been at the top of Google and it’s greatly affected our business. Every time I do a consultation, 95% of them say that the way they found us was by doing a Google search and we were the number one that showed up with the highest reviews. It didn’t take that long, took us a couple months to get to the first page and then a couple months to move up
to the middle of the page and a couple months to go all the way up to the top and we’re just sitting pretty at the top. So, we love it.
Hi, my name is Christina Niemus.
I’m the owner and operator of Angels Touch Auto Body and Detailing in Bourne, Massachusetts. We have been working with Thrive and their coaching for, say, eight to nine months. And it took us about six months, five to six months, to get on the top of Google and with their help with the website and marketing and the SEO and retargeting ads with Google. And it has been phenomenal.
We just have light and day business coming in, phone calls coming in, walk-ins, referrals. It’s just through the roof. And we couldn’t be happier. At the moment, we are up 50% this year from the previous year. And not only is that part of our own hard work and diligence,
but also with the help of Thrive and what they’ve done for us and getting us on the top of Google and all their knowledge and coaching. And yeah, so super grateful, super pumped to see what the future holds for all of us. Thank you.
Hey there, it’s Gina from Be Still, Flip Studio, and I just reached the top of Google for SEO rankings. I’ve been working with Thrive for about a year now. However, I’ve just opened my studio. The soft launch was in February of this year. We launched officially beginning of April, and we’re in the middle of July, and we’re at the top of SEO for Google.
So thank you so much for our nation for helping me do that.
My name is Guy Shepard with Shepard Automotive in Oklahoma City. Topping Google has meant the world to our business. I’m so thankful for Thrive and all the work that they did to get us to the top. We are usually top one, two or three search results in our industry. This process took about 18 to 24 months, and it is well worth all the work.
We are so thankful to be here. It means really everything to our business right now. Thank you.
Hi, my name is Steven. I lead the team at ModScenes. We are a company that does church stage backdrops. Abby and the team at Thrive and about four months have helped us to get to number one on Google for our keyword, which is awesome. It’s been a huge help to us. It’s helped us to get in touch with a lot of churches who are looking for our product and have a need and we’re
able to serve them. It’s been really great for our business. It’s helped us to grow and
to serve more people. Hey, this is Marty Grisham with Advanced Commercial Systems, home of the Roof Nerds. I’m here at Thrive 15 where I work with my business coach Jason and I work with the whole team, Clay Clark and the whole team here. I just wanted to share real quickly of how Thrive 15 has done such a great job getting my business, Advanced Commercial Systems, on the first page at the top of the page in the Google searching for my commercial roofing company. And so it’s
affected me where I’m getting big strong leads. I’m getting phone calls every week from the online marketing that they’ve built for me. And so I just want to give a big shout out to Jason, Clay, and the whole team.
My name is Amy Baltimore, and I am a CPA in Covington, Tennessee. I’ve been working with the Thrive team now for about a year. One of the first things that they did was to update my website and my search engine optimization. I prior had a website, but I was not being found on Google. And all of my new business was coming through referrals
from friends, family, et cetera. And right away, I started to see results. People were calling and coming in saying that they found me on Google. They just Googled CPA near me, and there I was at the top of the page and they had all these Google reviews, positive reviews,
and so they decided that that is where they needed to go, was to where all the attention was being focused. And so it’s been a great help to my business and Thrive 15 has been a great help to my business.
My name is Ron Curtis and I own Curtis Music Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma. So we are in the top of SEO in the keywords piano lessons Tulsa, Tulsa piano lessons, piano lessons in Tulsa, piano lessons and we are currently working on getting in the top of Google with guitar lessons and those key words. Yeah, the biggest impact this has made on our business is that when people are searching on Google,
they’ll come straight to our website and fill out a form to sign up for their first $1 lesson. And so actually, although we continue to advertise and reach students that way, it’s really awesome that we can passively receive these students through the hard work
that we’ve had over the past few months and receive those students to just come in and knock on our doors and we didn’t even pay for it. So it took about, for piano lessons, it took about six months to start seeing the effects of starting to top out on Google. Yeah.
But now we’re, I mean, we’re number one so it’s great. This is gonna sound really crazy,
but it’s absolutely true. From the first moment we started working with you till today, we’ve grown 758%.
Could you repeat that one more time? Because there’s somebody out there that has a business right now, or an organization, a ministry, an automotive repair shop, a dentistry. I’m just thinking about all the industries we work with, a skincare line, a muffler repair shop,
and they’re saying, what was that again? Could you repeat that number one more time?
I certainly can, 758% to date.
Well, Thrive Nation, our entire goal here
as a business coaching or business growth coaching platform is to help wonderful people like you to grow your business. And every week, almost every week, a wonderful client of ours will tell me about their growth or they’ll share with me about how much they’ve grown. And I love to document their success stories so that way we can encourage you that you too can turn your dreams into reality.
And so today we’re joined here with the woman behind Keystone Freedom Academy. You say, what’s Keystone Freedom Academy? I’m gonna let her share with you about it. It really is a powerful resource for so many families. With that being said, Dr. Jeanine, welcome onto the Thrive Time Show.
How are you?
Thank you, doing well. Thanks for having me.
So first off, what is KeystoneFreedomAcademy.org?
Keystone Freedom Academy is a private school and we support students who are emotionally and behaviorally complex. So, our student base are from grades 5 through 12, and we actually work with charter schools and work with the public school system. We take the students who others have had challenges with, students who have not been successful in that traditional setting, and we work with them
to increase their academics, to help them through whatever the emotional challenge is that they’re that’s keeping them from being successful. And then we return them back to their original school, being productive citizens within that environment, and and really becoming leaders. They end up graduating with their cohorts no matter how far behind they are and we just
Really, it’s like a ministry felt a passion to really support this particular Child is there was nothing out there that was supporting the academics We have a lot of programs supporting the mental health of students. But when you take on the mental health with the academics, that didn’t exist.
So what kind of growth have you had since we’ve started working together? Since you guys reached out to us and we started working with you, helping you grow your company or your organization?
This is gonna sound really crazy, but it’s absolutely true. From the first moment we started working with you till today, we’ve grown 758%.
Could you repeat that one more time? Because there’s somebody out there that has a business right now or an organization, a ministry, an automotive repair shop, a dentistry. I’m just thinking of all the industries we work with, a skincare line, a muffler repair shop, and they’re saying, what was that again?
Could you repeat that number one more time?
I certainly can. 758% to date.
That is powerful. Now I want to unpack that a little bit here. Someone says, well, Clay, you know, I don’t live in Oklahoma and most of your clients are probably in Oklahoma. And I would say, well, you know, 95, maybe 98% of our clients are not based in Oklahoma.
Where are you based?
We’re based in Pennsylvania.
And then somebody would say, you know, the reason why I can’t have success is that I’m too young. I’m 25 years old. Someone says, I’m too old. I’m 45 years old. Somebody says, I don’t know if now’s the right time.
What would you say to somebody who’s saying, I just don’t know if now’s the right time to grow my business?
I would say, get up, get out, get her done. I retired from public school system and I was not going to just sit by and live a retired, a typical retired life. So I simply took my retirement funds and put it into opening a school that I believe there were gaps in
supporting students. And, you know, here we are. So it’s only been a few years, and we have expanded. And not only have we expanded in Pennsylvania, but we’re expanding in other states as well.
Now, I’m taking all sorts of notes here, just documenting this growth because you’ve had unbelievable success in what I believe to be 10 areas. I’m going to go through these 10 with you one by one. First is search engine optimization. I see a lot of doctors, dentists, photographers, and I’ll just pull up an example here. One of our wonderful long-time clients, it’s called Hollywood Smiles.
I really think the world of Dr. Stephanie. She does a great job. It’s called Hollywood Smiles and she is based in McKinney, Texas. And when I first met her, she wasn’t generating any leads or traffic from the internet because she, her website wasn’t optimized. I think about a wonderful client, Kola Fitness. If you do a search for Joplin gyms, this is Kola Fitness. They’re located in Joplin, Missouri and other states as well, multiple locations. And these people, they come into my life,
wonderful people with great ideas, great organizations, great God-inspired ideas to help people, and they just don’t have any internet presence. Can you talk about the search engine optimization? Has that made, or what kind of impact has that made on your organization?
It’s made tremendous impact. We have like tens of thousands of people that come to our internet or come on the internet and go to our website, which blows my mind. I can’t even imagine that kind of access. And our website also is something that was developed and designed for your organization. And I get so many clients coming to us because of the website is that we have searched private schools for our child and your website is what brought us to you because it is so
Phenomenal and I knew nothing about any kind of marketing or website development But with your team our website just stands alone as being such a top site for information and for drawing in customers.
Second area is, you know,
a website is very similar to a garden. You can plant a garden, but then you ultimately have to pull the weeds because weeds grow by default. And with a website, I mean, we don’t just build the website as an event.
Every single week, we meet with you at a weekly time and we make little tweaks, little updates. We’re always adding content. We’re always updating the website to be search engine compliant. Could you talk about the idea of having a team that helps you maintain the site?
The team’s phenomenal. We’re just doing this week, we’re working on the website. We’re updating it. We’re adding additional information and it’s constant growth. It’s a living document, if you will, and it just, it grows as we grow,
but I don’t have to take the time to do that, nor do I have to hire some specialists to do that for me. That’s what your team does, and it’s phenomenal.
So again, I’m gonna make sure folks, I’m taking notes here. There’s 10 implementation areas that Dr. Janine and her team are working with us to do. We could have all the theories, all the books, all the strategies, but it’s all about implementation. If that’s the conversation you’re looking to have, it’s all about implementation.
Implementation area number one is the search engine optimization. Number two is maintaining the website. Number three is flat rate costs, a flat rate cost structure. With our service, we charge a flat rate and and so many people come to me and they say, Clay, you know, my web guy, every time I call him, it’s $250. My marketing guy, every time I call him, it’s $300.
My business consultant, every time I call them, it’s $400. And they go, how much do you charge? And I said, it’s a flat rate of seventeen hundred a month. They go, yeah, I know it’s flat rate, but how much is it really? And I said, well, it’s seventeen hundred dollars a month. They go, no, I know. But how much is it per call, per interaction?
Can you talk about how much that’s helped your, maybe, peace of mind as you’re growing this organization, knowing that it’s a flat rate?
Absolutely.
I used to have an IT company, and every minute, every, it’s like having a lawyer on staff. You get charged per minute, and every little thing, not only was it a $2,000 monthly charge, but then you get a bill and go holy smokes What is this for and it was for all those extra minutes? And so with your organization it is
$1,700 that flat fee and I have access to you. I have access to Carter I’ve accessed anyone on your team and I’m able to text call put things on our agenda, and I get instant response. And every week we meet and go through everything to make sure everyone has done their part to update whatever it is that we’re working on and growing.
Now, the next area here, and I want to break up this idea and maybe do a little teaching in the meantime as well. The word esoteric means intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people and I find it to be ironic that the word esoteric is in fact itself esoteric. But there’s a lot of times when you’re working with a business owner and or when I’m working with a business owner and I’ve been doing this since 2005, I sit down with a business owner and I say
we need to build a workflow map and they say what’s a workflow and I said we need to script out every aspect of your business so it’s not just randomness. And they say, huh? And I say, it’s the service profit chain. There’s a Harvard case study written about it. Maybe it helps to see a picture.
But you need to have a workflow that documents how the process works. So how do you generate leads? Once a lead comes in, what do you say to the lead? After you say something to the lead, what happens next? How does the customer get charged? How is value added?
How do you follow up? How do you know the customers are happy? How do you hire people? How do you hire, train, retain good people? How do you do the accounting? And you guys, you guys have been very coachable
and we’ve worked together to build a linear workflow. Could you talk about how much having a workflow
has impacted your organization?
What’s impacted?
A hundred percent.
If we had not had the workflow, we’d still be where we were on year one. The workflow not only is a map that guides us to reach our goals, but it’s something that we look at every week. We work through each one of those pieces to make sure that there’s nothing that needs tweaked or edited.
particular our particular workflow, you know, we have Because we’re expanding we have a whole Systematic or all of our systems are in that workflow and You can click on it. It’s user-friendly Everything is spelled out. There’s it’s almost like having a
An instruction guide online. So go to the index. What do you want to know? It’s there. Click it, it’s there. Step-by-step procedures. There’s everything from our group interviews,
tracking our website, again, our systems, our one sheet, our Dream 100, testimonials. Everything is there so that not only can the staff, not only can they go on there and select any kind of system or process that they want to know how to do, but as we expand and we open up into new areas, it’s used to…
Administrators that come on board.
Now the next area, area of implementation,
area number five.
And again, folks, if you’re out there today and you have a business and you’re coachable, that’s what we’re looking for. That’s why I wanted to celebrate Dr. Janine today. There are people that reach out for reasons I don’t understand who are not coachable.
And so it’s very difficult to help somebody have success if the person is unwilling to implement the systems. But this next area is call scripting. When the phone rings, what do your employees need to say? So to my left, we have a call center for one of my companies.
We have a haircut chain called Elephant in the Room. So when the phone rings, we have a call center and our employees who are right over there, they answer the phone following the call script. When you go to make your dog epic, that’s a business I’m involved in,
and we have a call script for that business as well. Can you talk about the importance of having call scripting in place as opposed to letting everything being a wandering generality?
Absolutely. The call scripting is externally important so we’re having the same message to the same from the two customers and that message needs to be the same across the board. I have marketing people who make calls after they go out and visit, and they know exactly what they’re going to say on the visit because that’s also scripted. So everything in person is scripted, everything on the phone is scripted, so everybody’s saying
the same thing, you have the same message, there’s no confusion, this is who we are, this is what we do, and here’s the process moving forward if you’d like to become, if you’d like to come on board or have a child come to our particular school.
Now the next area, implementation area number six, employee recruitment. I hear all the time people say, Clay, I want to implement what you’re telling me, but I don’t know how to find good people. And so I think about it, specific examples of clients I work with that are wonderful people. I think about a company like Oxifresh. The man behind that business is Jonathan Barnett, the founder of Oxifresh. I’ve worked with him.
It’s hard to believe, but I’ve worked with him so long, there’s now over 500 locations of Oxifresh. I mean, this is a guy that I’ve worked with for, I think, 17 years. He has over 500 locations. But that business wouldn’t work unless there was a team. You can’t make the dream work without the teamwork, right?
You have to have a team. Can you talk about the employee hiring and employee recruitment processes that we’ve helped to teach you and implement?
Absolutely.
So, first of all, it starts with a group interview. And when I first heard this concept, you know, I scratched my head and said, a group interview, how on earth would that be successful? And I’m sure everyone would have the same thought. Well, in my industry, that’s just not going to work because of this, this, and that. And so everything that has been brought to the table, like you said, we’ve been coachable.
We’re like, well, let’s try it. Let’s see what happens. I would never do anything but group interviews from this point on, they are so amazing in weeding out and really identifying people that stand out. The other thing we’re able to do with group interviews is we now have new hires on reserve. And so in our industry, it’s hard to get very specific people with specific skills to work with our particular clients, with our children. And so we do the group interviews regularly and when we find someone who we know is
going to be a good fit, we put them on what I call reserve and when an opening comes we call them or we’re expanding we call them and reach out and they’re ready to come on board immediately. So we’re not just hiring anyone off the street because we need a body. But this group interview process has enabled us to be able to have these people who are ready, they’re qualified, and they’re going to be the
right people on the team.
Now the thing again, folks, all of this coming together is what adds value. People say, what’s the most important aspect of growing a company? Is it marketing? Is it branding? Is it hiring? Is it accounting?
Is it bookkeeping? Is it tracking? Is it online ads? Is it search engine? It’s all of it. It’s like asking, so what’s the most important component of making cookies?
Is it the flour? Is it the eggs? Is it the… It’s all of those ingredients coming together, and that’s why I’m so excited to share with you the story because you’re implementing everything. The next is weekly coaching. You have a weekly meeting and in that weekly meeting it shouldn’t feel like a beating but it should feel like a meeting and it has to do with accountability,
making sure that you guys got all your action items done, making sure that my team got our action items done and making sure that we identify that biggest limiting factor and we move beyond it. Can you talk about the importance of having a weekly recurring coaching meeting at the same time every week?
Yes. So we have our weekly meeting and we have our agenda. And on the agenda, we go through those action steps. Everyone is given a step. And I do have additional staff people that join the meeting weekly because they’re an integral part of our expansion.
weekly Because they’re an integral part of our expansion and so they will have action steps as well And then your team also has action steps. And so we make sure those steps are done like our tracking Tracking is important to keep that up to date and the and and you can track anything you want. But of course we track You know the reviews we track number of new clients some We track our financials. So tracking is
really important Then we go through Each of the steps like the website the dream 100 if we’re doing any Marketing we look at our marketing does our one sheet need to be changed up You know one thing, two things actually that really and I’m sure you’ll get to them, but they but they excite me so much.
I’m just gonna put it out there. The Dream 100, Dream 100 is phenomenal and not only having that list, but the coaching that we’ve received with what to do with those people once we’ve reached them. And then we reach out and then they reach out to us and then how do you maintain those? Relationships and then how do you build a new dream 100 list? So that’s all really important. And those are Those are practices that I would not have known to put in place The other practice I would not have known to put in place is video testimonies
video testimonies are Absolutely the soul of getting clients we use video testimonies For everything and everywhere and even in in our expansion our new clients all they want to hear are the Testimonies and to be able to see them on video it has taken our business and just exploded it,
just with that in itself. And again, folks, once the leads come in,
you have a script to call the leads. Once the leads come in, you have a script to call the leads, but then you say, well, who’s gonna call the leads? You have a process in place for hiring people. So if you’re listening to today’s show and you feel like any of these areas are broken,
that’s what we do. Now, the next thing we do is we include access to workshops. I do a workshop every two months. Our next one is next week. I’m not sure when people are gonna watch this, but we’ll bring in people from a time to time
like Tim Tebow that will come speak. We have Eric Trump and Robert Kiyosaki coming to a conference we have coming up in March. And I never know who we’re gonna bring in. We brought in the man who’s turned around, Harley Davidson, and we brought in the world’s top
public relations expert, Michael Levine, and we’ve brought in so many different people. But at the conference, it’s all about you. And we guide every client through this 14 point system of how to grow your company. And then we break every 30 minutes where we do Q&A.
So we do 30 minutes of teaching and then 15 minutes of question and answer. What kind of value has that made on your business? What impact has that made, having access to those business workshops that you can come to whenever you want
four to six times a year?
I have attended three of your workshops and I am attending the one in March. I am not making the December one, but I will be at the March event and I will be bringing my top corporate staff with me. I now have a corporation,
thanks to the work that your organization has done with us. And I call them life-changing. The information that you’ve got, the growth, the value is not measurable. It’s just invaluable. It’s so much information each time I come.
And do you have to come to somebody? No, but each time I come, I walk away with so much information, but I keep bringing people with me on my staff because I want them to see the value and I want them to grow as well.
You know, and what’s wild too, I don’t know if people know this, but we have a book that we teach from, I’m gonna pull it up on the screen here. But I update that book every single year. People say, why?
Well, what happens is when I come to this event, I’ve been self-employed since I was 16 years old. I’ve been coaching clients since 2005. And every time, every time, there’s not a single time it doesn’t happen, a client will come up to me and ask me a question I’ve never heard before. An attendee will ask me a question and I go, oh, wow, we need to cover that at the next
one. So we cover all 14 aspects of business growth. We cover establishing your revenue goals, determining your break-even point, figuring out how many hours per week you’re willing to work, your unique value proposition, branding, marketing,
sales conversion, customer acquisition costs, repeatable systems processes, management execution systems, how to create a weekly schedule that’s repeatable and sustainable. How to hire and how to train and retain great people. Accounting.
We teach all of this, but we open it up for a Q&A after every session. Every single time I go, man, I need to add that to the next workshop. So what happens is we have this book has, every single year, evolved, and in my opinion, improved, to the point that people say, Clay, on the way home from the event, I’m reading through the book, and I’m going, I didn’t even, I never, wow, that was powerful. So it is, the book, you have a workbook that you’re following at our events, and it’s a
fun environment. Could you describe the environment? We have so many entrepreneurs who, in my opinion, are some of the best characters on the planet. These are diligent people. We have, it starts at seven, it goes till five each day. Can you describe the kinds of people
that attend the workshops as well?
The workshops are absolutely fabulous. And we do, we have so much fun. We meet so many other entrepreneurs and we make connections and lifelong connections. We, you know, you’ll have a band, you’ll have animals, we have drawings for all different gifts and services.
It’s just, it’s a fun, active environment where you are learning and taking away strategies for your own business, but again, you’re networking and you’re meeting other people. And like I said, this is gonna be my fourth one. And I cannot wait. I can’t wait to come see you again in March.
Now, the final two areas I wanted to ask you about today was merit-based pay. I’m doing this interview with you the day after Thanksgiving, or two days after Thanksgiving, so Saturday the 30th. I’m here. We have a staff of people behind me.
You might see in the background walking around doing things. Everybody in my life, all the employees, they operate under a system I call merit-based pay, a meritocracy. So basically, they get paid for what they do, not based on what they say they’re going to do or based upon what the resume says they can do. They get paid based upon what they do.
And so our employees tend to make far more than the industry average for the industries We’re in because they get paid based upon what they do you’re gonna get paid off the results Not based off of the length of the resume or the degrees they have could you talk about the importance of implementing merit-based pay? Absolutely, we we started out with
trying a bonus system and it really didn’t work well for us because It didn’t have the rigor that we needed to bring our staff To raise them up in their performance. So looking at a merit-based pay It’s phenomenal. We actually have Now staff that submit to us twice a year, what they’ve been working on,
what it brings to the organization, what the procedures are for it, and artifacts to prove that what they’ve done is benefiting our organization. And then we, my admin team then, we go through and we look at those and we determine based on the effect of the item, it’s hard
to describe, the effect of what they’ve done, how much did it give back to what we’re doing. And the give back could be through community, it could be through students, it could be through the growth of the organization, through other staff members. And then we put a value on that and they get a merit-based pay on what they’ve contributed. And because we only do it twice a year, every six months, if you will, or half of the year, everybody’s working on making sure that things are growing,
that they’re doing the best they can do because they want to get the top amount in that payment.
Now, I have one final question for you with a final 60 seconds. I hate to do two-part questions, but it’s a two-part question for you. So one is, again, what kind of a percentage growth have you had for anybody who might’ve missed it,
they might’ve been going through a drive-through. So what was that percentage growth? And then second, what would you say to anybody who’s on the fence about scheduling a free 13-point assessment or coming to one of our in-person workshops?
758% growth.
And that’s over just a few years. I think we’ve been three, maybe a little over three years working together. 758% growth. And we have our goals set out for our 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10 years. And we will be, we have a goal for 10 years. At that growth, we would be at 40 million, but our goal is 50 million. So we do believe we’ll make that. We believe that’s very sustainable and With the help of your team, that’s where we’re looking to go
What was the second one? Oh my goodness. You have to come no hesitation at all Do not hesitate you have to come to the event You either come to the event or call and get an hour meeting with someone, even just an hour meeting, you’re going to go through that 13-step process. And through that process, you’re going to get so much out of it, it’ll blow your mind. And then if that’s what it takes, do that first.
You won’t want to miss the business conference.
Well, it is an honor to know you, an honor to call you friend. I’m so thankful that your business is growing, and I really do believe we’re just getting started, and that’s a 758% growth. I do believe we’re just starting. I don’t mean this in a passive aggressive way.
I know that if people like yourself or myself can do it, I know if we can do it, and everybody out there watching today, you too can do it. You have the mental capacity and the tenacity needed to become successful. So schedule that free consultation today
at thrivetimeshow.com. Dr. Janine, thank you so much for your time and we’ll talk to you soon.
Thank you, bye bye.
My name’s Adam, I’m the owner
of the Owasso Tip Top Canine location. Being top on Google is huge. People only look so far for results. If you’re one of the first things that pops up, you’re gonna be the one that they call. It didn’t take us very long to get there.
Might have taken us a few months at the most. Just get the reviews, follow the system,
works like a charm.
I’m Nathan Severinas with Complete Carpet.
I’ve been serving Tulsa and surrounding communities for coming up on our 22nd year now. First heard about Clay and his team through the Thrive Time Show. We also attended one of the conferences. At the conference, we learned the importance
of Google reviews. At that time, I only had, I think, three. We’re coming up on our 20th year in business at that time and I just didn’t think Google reviews were a thing and we started getting them and we’ve seen a real big turnaround. We started in the coaching program also and the Google reviews on there were now the
highest and best ranked carpet cleaner in the Tulsa area. We’re over 330 I think of Google reviews right now and that has helped increase. We had Google AdWords before but it has now increased the number of Google customer we get. I think from two years ago, we’ve, last month, we had tripled the number of people who said they had found us through Google, which actually comprised 40% of our new customers last month, which is a big increase, really helped us. Last year, we doubled our business.
This year, we started doing the group interview system, which has helped out a lot because now I can have one time for about an hour, hour and a half at the max each week that I can interview guys as opposed to trying to go through every single resume. I can now just see the guys who are willing to show up. And then quickly, because I mean, immediately once you see someone, you can tell if you’ve
got a C player, which are just like, nope, hard pass. Or if you’ve got an A or a B player, and you just immediately say, you know, hey, this is someone I wanna invest more time in, I’d love to do a shatter day sometime with them. We added scripting, which has helped,
it does help your team, but it also helped me tremendously myself, because now I could get through a phone call, or get through a close faster, and I’d stop meandering, because I had a point, I had a purpose,
I’d get through done quickly. And a great side benefit is my wife started helping, answering the phones, because she didn’t think she could do it, because she didn’t have my knowledge base. But with the script in place,
she said, oh, I can just read that script and just take people’s information. That’s easy. And so she took a whole big load off of me and has been able to be engaged and help on that side of the business of freeing me up to work on other things. And so keeping our guys also on track helps with adding a merit-based pay system that
helped immeasurably because I was having a hard time getting guys to actually finish the checklist or do the different action items that I needed them to do. And now I separated it. They make a pay for getting the carpet cleaning done. They also get a bonus for getting the checklist done or for updating our scheduling software so that now they have a reason to get those
other things done because they’re going to get paid to do those. So you know 60% is through the cleaning and another 30 or 40% of their pay comes from doing the things that I before was trying to get them all to do together. I also to get… We now are on… if you do a search for carpet cleaning Tulsa, you’re going to see us come up as, in the Google AdWords, you’re also going to see us come up on the maps as the highest and most reviewed carpet cleaner, but I also come up in the organic
listing now, which took a lot of time writing articles. My competitor has, I think, 200 or 300 articles. I had to beat him to try to get onto that first page, but it’s helped a lot because as I think I just talked about a minute ago, we’re now triple what we did two years ago in the amount of business that we do, and 40% of that was just Google, just from Google, just from people coming in there. And it gives us three app baps every time someone does a search for Carpet Cleaning
Tulsa. They’re going to see our ad, they’re going to see our reviews, and they’re also going to see our website. And one thing, a little side thing that we’ve done just recently in the last couple of months that’s helped out, that we’ve seen a big turnaround, is adding video reviews to our Google business page.
We actually last month did 40% of all of the jobs scheduled were scheduled online Last year we only averaged 20% and so that was a big turnaround that freeing up Resources for my wife to work on other things and help work on the business and not just always in the business I’d definitely go back and do the coaching system again I just wish I would have done it earlier because I think the thing that I had trouble with is that I was stuck and I need somebody to help me get unstuck. But the hardest thing is saying, if I could have done better, I already would
have. And so having Clay and his team, a lot of times I’ll ask a question, they don’t have an answer right then, but they go and they’ve got this large group and this large team that they can go and say, hey, what’s the best practice system for this? And they’ll come back the next week and be like, here, try this, this is going to help you.
And I’m like, oh, I hadn’t thought of doing it that way before. I love, Chuck told me once, he said that sometimes business guys try to break through the wall when they just need to be shown that there’s a door to open or that you can just walk around the wall. And I was definitely that type of person. I was trying to break through walls and really need somebody to show me a way to just walk
around the wall. There’s another door, there’s some other easy way to get through this.
All right, Thrive Nation, we’re here with Rusty and his newest apprentice here, Daxton. And Rusty is the owner of Justice Tumbling. How long have you been a client there, sir?
A year exactly, almost.
How long have I been a client of you? Because I think my wife hired you to coach our kids in tumbling probably years ago, right?
About three years now.
OK.
So we’ve, the Clark family, we’ve had the opinion that you are the highest rated, the best tumbling guy in all of Oklahoma. Because my wife is obsessed with cheerleading and everybody wants to work with you. But how long did it take you to get to the top of page one of Google? Almost after listening and being diligent on the
homework, after a year we are at the top now in Google. And are you and Daxton getting leads now as a result of being top in Google? Every week when we track our numbers, when we ask how people all our new clients have heard up from us, at least 90% of those clients
are just from Google.
And what would you say to somebody out there who’s listening today who is juggling a lot? They have a kid by the name of Daxton who they’re apprenticing. They’re running a business, and they just don’t have time to get reviews.
What would you say?
Make time for it. Let your staff know to get in on it. Give contest incentives to your staff to do it, just because in the long term, it does work.
And you’re working on a book right now, a book to give to all your new students. What would you say to somebody who’s having a hard time to find the time needed to write a book?
That the more you can offer, the better it is just to the clients.
Absolutely. And what’s your website so people can check it out? Justustumblingco.com. You are a great American, Daxton, I appreciate you. Oh, look at, oh, yes. He looks more like his mom than he does his dad. You look just like your mom. It’s impressive. In a manly kind of way, though.
It’s a good thing.
All right, check out the website against justice. What was the website again?
Justicetumblingcone.com.
Hey, all you potential thrivers out there,
this is Jamie Fagle, I’m with Jameson Fine Cabinetry in Raleigh, North Carolina. I started with Detroit 15 back in April of 2019. I came across the Please podcast when I was just kind of messing around one day when I was driving. I used to try to listen to educational things.
So I found his podcast and started laughing. I mean, it was just full of real down to earth, everyday business stuff that happens. Whereas a lot of the other things I come across is just the same old, same old stuff that just keeps repeating. It doesn’t really go anywhere. So I listen to his podcast probably every day for about a week, week and a half. Then I call them to check in on what it’s all about, the coaching program that they have. Clay called me, I think within three days of me talking to the
first person who went through and did the follow-up and the walkthrough. So after talking to Clay, we decided to move forward with the program. I said, I’ve been doing it since 2019 of April. Couldn’t be happier. When we first came aboard with Drive 15, we were not known on the Internet. Nobody could find us.
Now I’m on basically page one for all the important searches. There’s one more that we’re waiting to get to, and hopefully within another month we’ll be on page one of that. And with that, we’ve already seen an increase in business just from the website. That’s not including when I have a sale, before I go out to that sale to meet with a customer, I tell them to look on our website and check out our reviews and our testimonials. By the time I get to the customer’s house, that job’s already sold because of
our reviews. We got 100 reviews when I started. I didn’t even think about getting reviews. I didn’t really know what the meaning was or how important they were to your overall business success. Finding out now is a huge part of it. Same with the testimonials. Once they got me set straight on what I needed to be doing, it took a little while to get
my crew of guys and our people to think about asking for the reviews and then we went through three or four weeks of trying to figure out what the best way of getting the reviews is because you talk to a lot of people and they say they’re going to do the reviews but it’s a little harder than it looks. Anyway it’s well worth the effort that you put in. We have a system now that works fairly well and we’re getting the reviews. We don’t get as many as I’d like to but we’re doing better at it and we keep adding to ours.
So right now I am actually the most reviewed company in North Carolina as far as kitchen cabinets go and we have the most testimonials. Like I said, that’s done a lot for us. With Clay and his team writing the SEO content, I have 13,000 words of content and that also helps. We’re now looking at adding to what we’re doing with, you know, adding podcast and video content as much as we possibly can
because that is where the biggest bang is. Some of the other things that I have learned, I went to the seminar or the conference that they have up there. I went to one of them in December and it was just great because you meet all the people who are struggling and going through the same things that you are going through. And then you have these real conversations.
Conversations you don’t have with everyday people who are not running a business and don’t run into all the same things that you are trying to manage through while growing a business, protecting your money and keeping your customers all happy. So a lot of the things that I have learned and one of the other big ones would be the group interviews. I would always do the same old thing.
When I needed somebody, I would post an ad and meet with one person at a time. Once I got tired of that I picked the guy who was the best suited out of those three or four because I only had time to interview two or three people. Doing a group interview you get to see everybody in the same setting basically right in front of you and you can tell a lot more by how they handle themselves, how they come to their interview, are they dressed to impress, do they have their pad, do they show up on time?
All those things. And it makes a huge difference. I’ve hired now four people from the group interviews and all of them are rock stars. Except for one. One guy didn’t quite work out but that was probably more my fault than any others. But the group interview is a solid thing.
You’ve got to follow it. You’ve got to do it. Some of the other things that we’ve done is the systems and processes.
As much as you can get a job, you’ve got to be able to do it.
And I think that’s a big part of the job. I think that’s a big part of the job.
I think that’s a big part of the job.
I think that’s a big part of the job. done is the systems and processes. As much as you know that you need to do systems and processes, when you’re caught up in the day-to-day minutia of getting your business running, it’s really hard to focus on writing a process. But if you’re not doing those, your company is just not going to have that solid foundation that you need. I’ve gone through a lot of corporate jobs in my time, and I know all about the processes and the checklists and all that, but never got to do them.
Once I started with 515, it was kind of part of our homework to get these things done. And as I see these checklists go into action and people are starting to use them now, and all my employees are referring back to them, it’s a hell of a way to start training people. It just makes training a whole lot easier. You’re not trying to do that, you know, you got to tell them 15 times before they get a thing. They can hand them a book and say, here’s what your job entails,
here’s all the things you need to do, and here’s how you do it. The checklists are a great thing to get done. So right now, I mean, I said it’s moving along great. I highly recommend these guys. It’s one of the best things in my week. You know, it’s hard when you’re just constantly pushing, pushing, pushing to take that time
to work on your business. If you don’t take that time to work on your business, your business will not get any farther than where it is now. And if it does, it’s by chance, not by skill, and it won’t last. You really need to get a foundation. You need to have these guys in your corner so you can talk about the current situation
you’re dealing with. It’s not just a marketing company. These guys help you with marketing. They help you with business decisions. They help you with advertising. They talk about financials.
Everything that you need to have a good solid discussion with about your business. These guys are not part of your business. They are not part of your family. They are not your friends. They are not anybody that you come and associate with. They are just there to help you grow your business.
It’s a mastermind group.
Works great.
Really, at this point, we’re looking at doubling our sales. Actually, we’re on course to grow our business 150% this year, even amidst the COVID-19 disaster that’s going on. In our states, it’s one of those things that can’t seem to figure out what the best thing to do, so they don’t do anything. Lock it down and shut it down and all that. So even with the COVID-19,
we’re on pace to grow 150 percent and that’s phenomenal. And I attribute a lot of that to, or most of that to, my weekly conversations with Andrew and Clay. So well done guys, I really appreciate it and I hope you potential thrivers out there jump into it.
Thanks.
I started the business because I couldn’t work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer to insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answer to my patient and that’s it.
My thought when I opened my clinic was I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help in many ways. I mean I went to medical school I can figure this out. But it was a very very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic I had a $63,000 embezzlement. I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that are just a lot of people experience especially in the medical world. He was
instrumental in helping with a specific written business plan. He’s been instrumental in hiring good quality employees, using the processes that he outlines for getting in good talent, which is extremely difficult. He helped me in securing the business loans. He helped me with web development and search engine optimization. We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in because they found us
on the web. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced, I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through
and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business.
I’m Dr. Chad Edwards,
and I own Revolution Health and Wellness Clinic.
Clay Clark is here somewhere.
Where’s my buddy Clay? Clay is the greatest. I met his goats today, I met his dogs, I met his chickens, I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy.
I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.
So this guy is like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing.
Okay, Aaron Antis, March 6th and 7th, March 6th and 7th, guess who’s coming to Tulsa,
Russia?
Santa Claus? No, that’s March.
March 6th and 7th, we’re going to be joined by Robert Kiyosaki, best-selling author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, possibly one of the best-selling business authors of all time. And he’s going to be joined with Eric Trump. He’ll be joined by Eric Trump. We’ve got Eric Trump and Robert Kiyosaki in the same place.
In the same place.
Aaron, why should everybody show up to hear Robert Kiyosaki? Well, you got billions of dollars of business experience between those two. Not to mention many, many, many millions of books have been sold. Many, many millionaires have been made from the books that have been sold by Robert Kiyosaki. I happen to be one of them. I learned from the man.
He was the inspiration. That book was the inspiration for me to get the entrepreneurial spirit, as many other people. Now, since you won’t brag on yourself, I will. You’ve sold billions of dollars of houses, am I correct?
That is true.
And the book that kickstarted it all for you, Rich Dad Pornhub, the bestselling author of Rich Dad Pornhub, Robert Kiyosaki, the guy that kickstarted your career, he’s gonna be here. He’s gonna be here. I’m pumped. And now Eric Trump, people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees.
There’s not 50 employees. The Trump Organization, again, most people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. And while Donald J. Trump was the 45th president of these United States and soon to be the 47th president of these United States, he needed someone to run the companies for him.
And so the man that runs the Trump Organization for Donald J. Trump, as he was the 45th President of the United States, and now the 47th President of the United States, is Eric Trump. So Eric Trump is here to talk about time management, promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build. I mean everything you see the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it.
You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint. I mean who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand? I mean look at it and this is the man behind the business for the last, pretty much since 2015, he’s been the man behind it. So you’re talking, we’re into nine, going into 10 years of him running it. And we get to tap into that knowledge.
That’s going to be amazing. Now, think about this for a second. Would you buy a ticket just to see Robert Kiyosaki and Eric Trump? Of course you would. Of course you would. But we’re also going to be joined by Sean Baker.
This is the best-selling author, the guy who invented the carnivore diet. Oh yeah. Dr. Sean Baker, he’s been on Joe Rogan multiple times. He’s going to be joining us. So you’ve got Robert Kiyosaki, the best-selling author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Eric Trump, Sean Baker.
The lineup continues to grow, and this is how we do our tickets here at the Thrive Time Show. If you want to get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it. It’s $500 for a VIP ticket. We’ve always done it that way. Now, if you want to take a general admission ticket, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay.
And the reason why I do that and the reason why we do that is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody. I grew up without money. I totally understand what it’s like to be the tight spot. So if you want to attend, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. That’s how I do it.
And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket. Now, we only have limited seating here. The most people we’ve ever had in this building was for the Jim Brewer presentation. Jim Brewer came here, the legendary comedian Jim Brewer came to Tulsa and we had 419 people that were here. 419 people.
And I thought to myself, there’s no more room. I felt kind of bad that a couple people had VIP seats in the men’s restroom. No, I’m just kidding. But I thought, you know what, we should probably add on. So we’re adding on what we call the upper deck. Or the top shelf.
So the seats are very close to the presenters, but we’re actually building right now. We’re adding on to the facility to make room to accommodate another 30 attendees or more. So again, if you want to get tickets for this event, all you have to do is go to thrivetimeshow.com,
go to thrivetimeshow.com. When you go to thrivetimeshow.com, you’ll go there, you’ll request a ticket, boom. Or if you want to text me, if you want a little bit faster service, you say, I want you to call me right now.
I just texted my number. It’s my cell phone number. My personal cell phone number. We’ll keep that private between you, between you, me, everybody. We’ll keep that private. And anybody, don’t share that with anybody except for everybody.
That’s my private cell phone number. It’s 918-851-0102. 918-851-0102. I know we have a lot of Spanish speaking people that attend these conferences and to be bilingually sensitive my cell phone number is 918-851-0102. That is not actually bilingual, that’s just saying one for one. I think you’re attacking me. Now let’s talk about this. Now what kind of stuff
will you learn at the Thrive Time Show workshop? So Aaron you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years so let’s talk about it. I’ll tee up the thing and then you tell me what you’re going to learn here, okay? Okay, you’re going to learn marketing marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh, yeah, we’re going to dive into you know so many people say oh, you know I got to get my brand known out there like the Trump brand right you want to get that brand out there
it’s like how do I actually make people know what my business is you can make it a Household name you’re going to learn some intricacies of how you can do that. You’re going to learn sales. So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell. So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results. We’re going to teach you how to manage people. Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands
of contractors. And most people struggle with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people? Well, because first of all, people are, you either have great people or you have people who suck. And so it can be a challenge. You know, learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling
in the same direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones, and we have a process we teach about how to find great people. When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction. So we’re gonna teach you branding, marketing,
sales, search engine optimization. We’re gonna teach you accounting. We’re gonna teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance. We’re gonna teach you time management. How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day? How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization?
How do you build an org chart? Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two-day interactive business workshop. Now let me tell you how the format is set up here. Again, folks, this is a two-day interactive 15… Think about this, folks.
It’s two days. Each day it starts at 7 a.m. and it goes until 5 p.m. So from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. two days. It’s a two-day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30-minute teaching session, and then we break for 15 minutes for a question-and-answer session.
So Aaron, what kind of great stuff happens during that 15-minute question-and-answer session after every teaching session? I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops, because here’s what happens. I’ve been to lots of these things over the years. I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them and you go in there and they talk in vague generalities and they’re constantly upselling you for something trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing
or this program or this membership and you don’t you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing. And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks. And it’s very specific to what your business is. And what we do is we allow you, as the attendee,
to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard. And then we take a 15-minute break to stretch and to make it entertaining when you’re stretching. And this is a true story.
When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s gonna probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone. I mean, there’s just, you had a crocodile one time. That was pretty interesting. You know, I should write that down. Sorry for that one guy that we lost. The crocodile, we duct taped its face, so that, right, we duct taped. No, it was a baby crocodile. Yeah, duct tape around the mouth so it didn’t bite anybody. But it was really cool passing that thing around.
I should do that. We have a small petting zoo that will be assembled. It’s going to be great. And then you’re in the company of hundreds of entrepreneurs. So there’s not a lot of people in America today. In fact, there’s less than 10 million people today,
according to US Debt Clock, that identify as being self-employed. So if you have a country with 350 million people, that means you have less than 3% of our population that’s even self-employed. So you only have three out of every hundred people in America that are self-employed to begin with. And when Inc. Magazine reports that 96% of businesses fail by default,
by default you have a one out of a thousand chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double this. No hyperbole, no exaggeration. I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically
double the size of the company within 24 months. Yeah. Double? And you say double? Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled. There’s businesses we’ve grown 8x.
There’s so many examples you can see at thrivetimeshow.com. But again, this is the most interactive, best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet. And then you add to that Robert Kiyosaki, the best-selling author of Rich Dad Poor Dad. You add to that Eric Trump, the man that runs the Trump Organization. You add to that Sean Baker. Now you might say, but Clay, is there more? I need more. Well, okay, but Tom Wheelwright is the wealth strategist for Robert Kiyosaki.
So people say, Robert Kiyosaki, who’s his financial wealth advisor? Who’s the guy who manages? Who’s his wealth strategist? His wealth strategist, Tom Wheelwright, will be here. And you say, Clay, I still, I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more. OK, fine.
We’re going to serve you the same meal both days. True story. We cater to food. And because I keep it simple, I literally bring him the same food both days for lunch. It’s Ted Escovedo’s, an incredible Mexican restaurant. That’s going to happen. And Jill Donovan, our good friend, who is the founder of Rustic Cuff.
She started that company in her home and now she sells millions of dollars of apparel and products. That’s rusticcuff.com. And someone says, I want more. This is not enough. Give me more. OK, I’m not going to mention their names right now because I’m working on it behind the scenes here.
But we’ve got one guy who’s given me a verbal to be here. And this is a guy who’s one of the wealthiest people in Oklahoma. And nobody really knows who he is because he’s built systems that are very utilitarian, that offer a lot of value. He’s made a lot of money in the, it’s the, it’s where you rent, it’s short term, it’s where you’re renting storage spaces.
He’s a storage space guy. He owns the… What do you call that?
The rental…
The storage space?
Storage units. Storage units. This guy owns storage units. He owns railroad cars. He owns a lot of assets that make money on a daily basis. But they’re not like customer facing.
Most people don’t know who owns the mini storage facility. Most people don’t know who owns the warehouse that’s passively making money. Most people don’t know who owns the railroad cars, but this guy, he’s giving me a verbal that he will be here. And we just continue to add more and more success stories. So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself
an incredible gift, you want a life-changing experience, you want to learn how to start and grow a company, go to Thrivetimeshow.com. Go there right now. Thrivetimeshow.com. Request a ticket for the two-day interactive event. Again, the day here is March 6th and 7th.
March 6th and 7th, we just got confirmation. Robert Kiyosaki, best-selling author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. He’ll be here. Eric Trump, the man who leads the Trump Organization. It’s going to be a blasty blast. There’s no upsells.
Aaron, I could not be more excited about this event. I think it is incredible, and there’s somebody out there right now, you’re watching, and you’re like, but I already signed up for this incredible other program called Smoke Your Way to Thin. You think that’s going to change your life? I promise you this will be ten times better than that.
It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.
Don’t do the Smoke Your Way to Thin conference. That is… I’ve tried it. Don’t do it. Chain smoking is not a viable… I mean, it is life changing. It is life changing. If you become a chain smoker, it is life changing. It’s not the best weight loss program to play. Right. Not really.
If you’re looking to have life-changing results in a way that won’t cause you to have a stoma, get your tickets at Thrivetimeshow.com. Again, that’s Aaron Antis. I’m Clay Clark reminding you and inviting you to come out to the two-day interactive Thrivetimeshow workshop right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I promise you it will be a life-changing experience.
We can’t wait to see you right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We can’t wait to see you right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
