International Business Coach and Entrepreneur Teaches About Sales Negotiations

Jack Nadel, the founder of Jack Nadel International, has teamed up with Thrive15 as a business coach to teach about sales negotiations. Nadel is a decorated WWII veteran who flew 27 combat missions over Japan. For his role as a combat navigator and radar bombardier, Nadel was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters and was a member of a crew that was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation. Nadel was additionally named as an Industry Hall of Fame Entrepreneur in 1988 by the Promotional Products Association International.

On Thrive15.com, Nadel explains an essential component to effective sales negotiations, which is silence. According to Nadel, before one can make a sale, they must first know what problem they are actually solving. This is accomplished by “[listening] twice for everything that you say,” according to Nadel. The goal, Nadel says, is to create a “win-win” situation for both himself and the person that he is negotiating with.

Nadel’s training is based on his award-winning book, The Evolution of an Entrepreneur, which received numerous accolades including five Global EBook Awards and three Gold Awards for BEST in Business, Leadership, and Careers/Employment. His book and trainings are based on years of success as a business coach with building and operating more than a dozen companies. Nadel has developed his own business methodology called, “The Nadel Method,” which incorporates an easy-to-follow, five-step process that aims to reduce the risk of failure while starting a business.

Today, Nadel is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. He is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post for subjects relating to business and economics. Nadel also serves as a mentor on the educational platform Thrive15.com, which provides engaging and practical business tips for people who want to start a business, grow a business, or advance in their careers.

Top Selling Insurance Agent Teams Up With Team as Business Coach

Top selling insurance agent, Bryan Smith, has teamed up with the educational platform Thrive15.com. Thrive15, similar to Lynda and Khan Academy, provides web-based learning video courses, but with a bit of flair coined, “edutainment.” The educational site prides itself on partnering with world-class mentors and successful business people to provide engaging and practical trainings for people who are looking to start a business, grow a business, or advance in their careers. Smith joins other successful mentors on the site that include former Walt Disney World® Resort Executive Vice President of Operations, Lee Cockerell, Golden Gavel and Cavett Award winning speaker, Jim Cathcart, and NBA Hall of Fame basketball player, David Robinson.

Smith’s career as an insurance agent began in 2010 and he has quickly turned it into a successful one. Within four years of beginning in the insurance industry, Smith has become one of the nation’s most successful insurance agents and now a business coach. Smith attributes his success to the implementation of best-practice sales systems, pig-headed discipline, and the creation of a success-oriented sales organization culture.

Smith’s journey to success has taken many twists and turns. Smith grew up serving as the head of household for his mother and brother after his father deserted them during his early teenage years. Smith still flourished as a student-athlete and had been considered to have potential for starting a professional baseball career. Those aspirations were flattened, however, when he was hit by a drunk driver, effectively ending his hopes for a career as an athlete.

Smith’s persistence and drive in the face of adversity has made him successful and helped him get to where he is today. His insurance business has received several awards including Oklahoma Magazine’s “Best of the Best Award” from 2011-2014.

When Smith isn’t selling insurance, he is dedicated to brining hope to his local community. Smith is actively involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Board, Tulsa Men of Vision, the Chairman’s Circle, and Thrive15.com, where he serves as a business mentor.
