I saw that we were spending money with Microsoft on email accounts for 19 employees that are no longer here and haven’t been here for years. It’s close to $2500 a year in savings. That never would have happened if you hadn’t prompted us to look at the numbers.” Pam Hogrefe, Access Optics
There were some good nuggets of knowledge there, but I almost want more and if you want more you can go back to the business coaching thrive time show.com and you can look for the five keys to changing your mindset and your body within the next four weeks to find the entirety of this sit down interview we had with amber and Charles Co op, the founders of [inaudible] fitness. For why I wanted to break this final segment into just a small little bite sized portion is that amber and Charles Cola started op fitness out of $115,000 home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. They lived below their means and they literally converted their home into a personal training facility. Amber was cutting people’s hair. Charles was coaching clients in areas of fitness and you’re helping people change their their lives. They’re helping people change their lives and their bodies and they worked with them faithfully for years, living below their means.
Then they opened up their first location after two and a half, almost three years of working out of their house in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Then they worked faithfully living below their means saving. They did that for years. Then they opened up their next location. Then their next location. No, they got Joplin and Topeka now. Now that they have a multimillion dollar business in a nice home and nice cars, people say, Gosh, it must be nice. Must be nice. God, that is just nice. I wish it must be nice. Must be nice. Get a little sarcasm in there. It must be nice. So they decided to come on the show and to tell us their five keys for changing their mindset, the five keys that we all need to know to change our mindsets and our bodies within the next four weeks. I’m going to recap. There are five keys and then I’m going to turn the mic over to them so that way they can share with you some recap thoughts that may encourage you and help you to break out of that drifting habitual mindset that most people are in. Forbes says, nine out of 10 businesses fail. A Gallup says, 70 percent of people hate their jobs. Washington Post says, 72 percent of men cheat on their spouses. Psychology today says it only it’s less than 20 percent of people who are married are happy and that can all change if you’ll simply embrace these five keys for changing your mindset and your body within the next four weeks. Did I just body? No. What I meant to say was body. Stay tuned.
I want to give the last call with with Charles and an amber can one up on here before we wrap up today’s show, the five keys to changing your mindset and your body with the next four weeks. When you got to imagine, that’s key. Number One, imagine how you would feel if you did lose the weight to except you already have the tools that you need. You do have the tools that you need. You got to start where you are with what you have. Make something of it and never be satisfied. George Washington carver key. Three, success isn’t complicated. Don’t let some charlatan convinced you that investing is super complicated to getting in shape. Super complicated. That saving money, super complicated. Just keep it simple. Queue number four, the confidence is what you’re going to experience after you’ve taken the action for those first 30 days, and key number five, motivation is not a one time thing. It’s an ongoing process. Charles, you can hammer home on any point you want or any business coaching encouragement you have. The listeners out there, a lot of listeners listening in every single day and they’re looking for encouragement from people like you who’ve done what they want to do. They’ve built a multimillion dollar company and they want a little encouragement. Charles, what do you have for the listeners out there?
Well, uh, not real prepped on that, but I would say the biggest thing is that every day you’re gonna wake up and you’re not going to feel like you want to jump and take action. And if you can literally like talk yourself into launching yourself out of bed, like three, two, one, and just boom and just explode out of bed and then seize the day. Just take after it. And you have your stuff prepped for the day, for the food and you go, uh, my opinion is if you go workout first thing in the morning, if you can, if you’ve got your stuff prepped it and you know exactly what you’re going to do the previous day, written it all down. You got to schedule ready. Wake up that morning, explode out of bed. You don’t feel like it. But if you get past, you know, three, two, one, boom, get up and then take off and go to you.
Get your workout in. After about 20 minutes into your workout, you’re going to feel a lot better because the, your, your body will, uh, your blood, your blood dilates and you feel your, your brain wakes up and then you seize the day and you go right into your task lists and you have your food prep for the day and you just follow the schedule one one every, every three hours reading something healthy and your energy’s great. You have appointments between every three hours. It’s your, you know, as a trainer, you’re kinda like a good psychologist. And so you coach people on how to do that. And so they planned the night before they wake up with the boom, they get their workout in and then hit their, all their meals throughout the day and in between each one of those are hitting all their checklists for the tasks. And next thing they know they’re in better shape than they’ve ever been. They’re accomplishing more than they ever have. And that’s, that’s the, that’s the end. You got it. You got to plan that, you got to prep that and um, and in and you put around you positive music, positive, upbeat stuff all the time going in your head, positive, upbeat, motivating, encouraging music, listen to stuff that inspires you mentally, physically, spiritually, that kind of stuff. So,
amber, you can one up your husband. I never want your husband to be prepared for the questions. I want you to be able to prepare as he is being really painted into a corner with each question. I’m going to make it super simple. We’ve got three things for you today. Focus only what is in the scope. Your confidence will come after your action and be consistent. It’s that simple. Keep it simple. You know, Steve Currington, uh, you are a beautiful man. I appreciate you joining us on the show here. And I, I think one of the things you do that really you sell a ton of mortgages, you’re hilarious. You’re consistent, hilarious. Drive a Lamborghini. You’re probably the best. Boom an expert we have. You’re the best person at delivering the boom, the verbal booms that you deliver on Katrina. Truly, truly incredible. A lot of people say, is Steve going to end the show with the Uber? Who’s going to do this? We’re all gonna end with a boom here, but if you could just try to one up us all. Oh yeah. Conjure up your inner boomi. You always went up was with the volume. So here we go. Three, two, one.
