So many different times in my life, I’ve played with broken or hurt things, broken foot, broken leg, broken hand, broken arm, broken sternum, broken collarbone. I could keep going if I just thought more about bones. Why, man? Because I loved it. I loved playing the game. I was passionate about it. One of the reasons I even get encouraged at seeing all of you here, you know why I get encouraged by that is Because you could be anywhere doing a lot of different things, but you chose to be here Some shows don’t need a celebrity narrator to introduce the show But this show does in a world filled with endless opportunities Why would two men who have built 13 multi-million dollar businesses? five hours per day to teach you the best practice business systems and moves that you can use. Because they believe in you. And they have a lot of time on their hands. This started from the bottom, now they’re here. It’s the Thrive Time Show starring the former U.S. Small Business Administration’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Clay Clark, and the entrepreneur trapped inside an optometrist’s body. Dr. Robert Zulman. Two men, eight kids, co-created by two different women. Thirteen multi-million dollar businesses. We started from the bottom, now we’re here. We started from the bottom, and we’ll show you how to get here. Started from the bottom, now we’re here. We started from the bottom, now we’re here. We started from the bottom, and now we’re at the top Teaching you the systems to get what we got Colton Dixon’s on the hoops, I break down the books Z’s bringing some wisdom and the good looks As a father of five, that’s why I’m alive So if you see my wife and kids, please tell them hi It’s the CNC, up on your radio And now, 3, 2, 1, here we go! Started from the bottom, now we’re here Started from the bottom, let me show you how to get here. Started from the bottom, now we’re here. Started from the bottom, now we’re here. Started from the bottom, now we’re here. Started from the bottom, let me show you how to get here. Started from the bottom, now we’re here. Started from the bottom, now we’re here. Now we’re here. Clay Clark, how are you doing, my friend? I am doing awesome. My daughter has just learned how to moonwalk. And I’m telling you, as a father, you go, you think about the list of things you want your kids to do when they grow up. A lot of people are like, I would like them to go to college. Sure. I would like them to get married. I would like them. But yeah, all that, yeah, that’s true. That’s true. I want them to be healthy. But I would secretly kind of want them to moonwalk. I mean, that would be like the best. It wasn’t even that secret. Is that something that? It wasn’t even that secret. Is that something that, you know, then you kind of quit, you quit dreaming. Right. You know what I mean? Like, that’s not possible. But I have a daughter who’s 10 who can moonwalk, my friends. That’s reason to celebrate America and every other country. Oh, that’s a great American right there. That’s a great American. That’s a great American. If you’re watching this right now from like, let’s say Uganda, we have one guy from Uganda right now. That moonwalk is for you. Perfect example of a great American. So I love it. Today Clay, we are talking about the top 5% club with the secret move of killing everyone with kindness. As we dive into this, I’ve noticed that I actually read a stat from the United States Chamber of Commerce. It says 75% of employees steal from their workplace and most do it repeatedly. So it’s still good. No, it’s not good. And we’ve got another mystic statistic here. Forbes says nearly 60% of hiring managers say they’ve caught lies on resumes. Business News Daily says nearly 30% of employee surveys say that they’ve called in for work, you know, they called in sick for work, when really they were feeling just fine. Now if you’re going to… Do you see a pattern here? If you’re going to focus on, if you’re going to judge people for lying, cheating, and stealing, then I have to say, you’re over here, and I’m over here. Because right over here, we don’t judge people for lying, cheating, or stealing. You don’t? No. We’re moonwalking. We’re just doing the whole moonwalking. We’re beatboxing. We don’t even have time for that. Seriously, the people that are calling in sick, the people that are lying, they say, don’t judge me. Only God can judge me. I mean, if you’re talking about, if you’re in business for the sole purpose of making a profit and paying the bills. Heartless. You’re heartless. Gutless. So, I’ve read a few statistics here, you know, that kind of reveal a pattern that we’ve seen in our society. Corporate bigot. The last one that I’ll read here is pretty startling. You’ve probably heard this one on Thrive before, but it’s incredible. Washington Post says only 13% of people are actually engaged in their job. So we’ve got 75% of employees stealing multiple times. Whatever. A ton of people lying on their resumes. Who cares? A ton of people calling in sick, when really they’re feeling just fine. I wouldn’t. I mean, practicing moonwalking. 13% of people are engaged at work. This is a… Who cares? This is not the club we’re talking about. You don’t want to join this club. You want to join the 5% club. If you’re only focused on profits, paying the bills, paying your mortgage, feeding your family. If you’re in the pursuit of those stupid things and you’re not focused on moonwalking. Right. So if you care about those things, making money, payments, supporting the family, this is for you. If not, this might not be a good site for you, honestly. Yeah. Might not, and we’d be OK. Capitalist pig. Here we go. This is what we’re doing today. We’ve got three principles, OK? The first one is what the top 5% look like. The second thing is be careful, be thankful. Sorry, be thankful for carp. And the third is perspective, giraffes and turtles. That’s what we’re covering today, OK? The first one is what the top 5% look like. I got a notable quotable here from Brian Tracy. Boom. And I’ve listened and read some of Brian Tracy, but explain to anybody who does not know who Brian Tracy is, why we should listen to him. Okay, all seriousness, Brian Tracy repeatedly punched me in the face with knowledge. I mean, literally, it was a deal where every time that I would listen to his self-help audio or read his books, I’m going, he’s writing this book about me. Bam. Like procrastination. I’m going, that’s me? He’s talking about leadership. He talks about the importance of studying success. I mean, he’s a guy who went from nothing all the way up to the top. He went from working manual labor jobs all the way up to the top. He’s a very well recognized. Five million people around. Yeah, he’s an awesome speaker, best selling author. And every time he’s talking, I’m going, this guy is talking about me. He’s so mean. Brian, be nice to me. How? Here’s what Brian says, okay? He says, this is as we’re kind of defining this top 5%. He says, people with clear written goals accomplish far more in a shorter period of time than people without them could even imagine. So why is this something that we see, I guess, a pattern or a habit in people’s lives who are in this top 5%? Well, first off, it’s very hard to get somewhere if you don’t know where you want to go. Make sense? So, typically, typically in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which I know is the birthplace of tourism, work with me. Yeah. Tulsa, Oklahoma, there’s a street called Memorial. And what happens is, is kids hop in their cars and they drive from roughly 71st in memorial to like a hundred and twenty first in memorial yeah and they go back okay and they drive and they go well I mean let’s get something to eat hmm say get something to eat then they go back they go well let’s holler at girls let’s go back and this happens until they’re out of gas interesting and it’s because they don’t have a goal now in totality. They’re gonna drive probably a hundred miles They’re probably gonna drive a hundred miles and they are going to spend on gas to go a hundred miles They’re probably going to get 20 miles a gallon. They’re probably gonna spend $15 on gas and They drove a hundred miles and didn’t get anywhere. Is this the top 5% here? Is this the place? It’s because they don’t have a goal. Now that same $15, so again, they spent $15 on gas. They went a hundred miles, but those hundred miles were here and here and here. They didn’t get anywhere. They’re in the same spot. However, you could take the same hundred miles, the same $15 of gas, and you could drive to Oklahoma City, and you could go see a Thunder game. You wouldn’t be able to come back for 100 miles, but you could get to the game. And all I’m saying is because a lot of us on the planet Earth, we only have, what, 30 years, 50 years, 60 years? I don’t know. I can’t tell you how many years you’re going to have to live. I can tell you my dad had stage 4 cancer. That was tough. I can tell you I lost my best friend in a car accident. That was tough. I can tell you that if you’re watching this, you’ve probably lost somebody close to you at some point. And that was tough. And I can tell you that when you go through those tough times, you start to ask yourself, where have I been going? And a lot of times you’re just going to work, going to the club, going home. Going to work, going to the gym, going home. And you’re not getting anywhere. So step one is ask yourself, where do you want to go? That’s an action step for me. And write that beast down. Write that beast down. Write it down. Write it on the tablet put it in writing because if you put it in writing you have Exponentially higher chances of getting there. Okay, so the first step write down where you want to go Right in the first action step. Yep And the reason we’re doing this is because most all of the people in the 5% club are doing this Yeah, really? I know you’re already doing this other people this is this episodes other people for the guy It’s for the it’s for the guy right now trolling over your shoulder. It’s for the dude, the lady looking over your shoulder going, what are you watching, Brian? Brian, what are you watching? Are you, what are you doing? Brian, are you, what are you watching? It’s for that person. That’s, this video’s for them. So what you do is, you just wanna, like you’ll, right now, if you can just duck, whoa, then they’ll be able to see, they’ll be able to see right now, this episode’s not for you, it’s for them. That’s beautiful. What I want to do, I want to go over all the attributes, or not all, some of the attributes that we can find in the lives of people in this 5% club. Sure. Are you ready? We’ve got three of them. The first one is, they tend to get to work early. What? Would you agree with that? I’ve never seen a successful person, honestly, I’ve never seen a millionaire, never met a mentor who does not work longer than the people who work there at some point. Now, it’s not forever, but at some point, they didn’t outwork everyone in the room. I have one guy I work with, very good friends with, who works probably about 15 hours a week right now. But at one point, he was working like 70 hours a week, but now he’s got a multi-million dollar business, and so he just doesn’t work very much. But guess what? He hired someone who is the new leader he’s hired. The guy who runs it, the executive, does work all those hours. I love it. Number two is they don’t leave until the job is done. True that. That’s, I mean, regardless of how high up the food chain you go, the buck has to stop with you. The, ultimately, it’s you’re the one who has to take responsibility for the ultimate outcome. If an employee doesn’t do a good job, it’s because we poorly trained them, if I’m a leader. If the team loses the game, it’s because we did a bad job coaching. If the team doesn’t win, it’s because we picked up bad players. It always has to come back to you at the moment You start assigning that to somebody else now you’re putting someone else in charge of your life not cool That won’t work got it and number three These people are focused on goals of themselves and the company not the people around them sure that They’re focused on the goals for themselves. They’re focused on achieving the goal of the company and the goal for themselves They’re not worried about taking an opinion poll going. Hey, do you guys agree? Just as an example, World War II, that was something I think most people could agree had to happen. It was something that ended the tyranny of Nazi Germany. If you’re watching this and you’re a Nazi, just get off the site. But for everybody else, seriously, we’re going to have like a Nazi-free, thrived nation. We’ve sent the emails out to the known Nazis. We’ve said, get off. But the thing is, is that World War II, again if you’re offended because you’re a Nazi, that’s okay. But the thing is that World War II was a very, it was tough. The Jewish people at the time were being murdered. The Holocaust was going on. They were literally exterminating an entire race of people through a process called genocide. And what happened was is that America did not have the will to go to war. America did not want to go to war. We wouldn’t do it. But when we got bombed by the Japanese, all of a sudden America’s like, let’s go. But the reality was, I really do believe honestly that America should have gone earlier because we needed to end that horrible genocide that was happening. But we did not get involved because the public will, the opinion polls. So you’re saying don’t let the opinion of people tear you down, slow you down. The survey said we shouldn’t go. Okay, good. Well, hey, I’ve got one more notable quotable here. Again, we’re trying to get to know this 5% club better. Yeah. What do these people look like? So we’ve got a notable quotable from George Bernard Shaw. OK, he was a writer. He actually had an Academy Award winner. He was a Nobel Prize winner in literature. Here’s what he has to say. A reasonable man adapts himself to his environment. An unreasonable man persists in attempting to adapt to his environment to suit himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” Can you unpack this a little bit here? What is he saying? Well, a friend of mine, he bought a piece of land that I don’t think anybody else in the country would have bought. It was sitting out alone and it basically had this really, really crappy pond on the land. So it was this crappy pond and this was his land. I’m just trying to show you the kind of underwater version. I know, I love your claim. And it had tons of trees, and it was just this nasty pond, and the pond had all these like whatever those things are that grow, all the grass and all that weird pond scum, and there’s pond funk, and there’s lily pads, and there’s snakes, and just gross. He buys the land and says, I’m going to build a resort on this. True story. I remember when he You told me that, you told other people that. Everybody I knew, everybody I know, everybody I came in contact with thought, you’re nuts. Yeah. You are nuts. I want you to Google this. This place is now called Five Oaks Ranch. And not only does it exist, but it is like the premier spot to have a wedding reception. But he’s an unreasonable man, because reasonable people said you can’t do it. He went in there, he chopped down certain trees, he did certain things, he built a dam, he did all these neat updates, he installed, he built a log cabin. Now we’re going to put the graphic of Five Oaks Lodge on the screen right now so you can see it. But it’s unbelievable. Let’s put the Google Earth on there too so we can see the actual image of this thing. We can see the land, you can see the geography. We’re going to put this all on the screen right now. It is awesome. Five Oaks was built by an unreasonable man. History is defined by unreasonable people. Martin Luther King said, I had a dream. I have a dream. I had this dream that one day, guess what? He had that dream, but that was an unreasonable dream. African Americans did not have the rights to vote. They did not have the rights to assemble. They did not have the rights to get equal pay, they were not elected to positions of power, but he had a dream, an unreasonable dream, and he saw it to fruition. Unbelievable. So you’re saying these people around will deem you as unreasonable if you’ve got a big dream big goal. You have to be unreasonable or you’re not going to have any success. Okay, so this club you’re trying to join is full of unreasonable people that get up early, that work hard. This is a little bit, gives you a picture of who you’re trying to become like. Yeah, this is an unreasonable club, and to quote the amazing artist Lord, the UK artist Lord, we can call it the Love Club. The Love Club, that’s beautiful. I appreciate you mixing it up. It’s probably one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard in my life. Lord, if you’re a subscriber, I’ve actually heard that Lord might have joined the team here. Lord, is that you? Sorry, but it is the worst song you’ve ever done. Your other songs were pretty good, but that song is just pretty rough. And moving on to principle number two. Second principle is be thankful for carp. Yeah. For carp. Yeah. They’re at the bottom of the dam eating plankton. We need to be thankful for carp. They’re eating fish poop, fishes. Okay, so I’ve got a notable quote over here. It’s one of the fishes that eats the fishes. So you’re just saying fish weird? No. I’ve got a notable quotable here from Vince Lombardi. Now he’s one of the most successful NFL coaches in the world and this is what he has to say. He says, the price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. So how does this apply here to what we’re talking about? And what is this principle of being thankful for carp? Thankful for the fishies that eat the fishies. OK, you keep saying fish weird, and it’s not clever. It’s not. People are watching this right. You’re watching this right now. You know what? You’re going to remember this at this principle because of the way that I said the fishies are eating the fishies. You, my friend, are not a purple cow. And we will talk about this offset and onset if need be. But here’s the deal, is that a car, most people are at work going, you know, I’ll go ahead and take your leftovers. You know, I mean, you’re going to work hard, alpha. You’re going to work hard, dreamer. You’re going to work hard, unreasonable man. And whatever, you know, and I mean, you’re going to get to work early, you’ll get to work late, you’ll get it all done. And then I’ll just kind of help out when I can. You know, you’re going to be the CEO and I’ll just be the lowest level possible. And you see in America right now, there’s signs all over America, probably in your country too, that say, now hiring, now hiring, now hiring. I know numerous entrepreneurs, there’s all sorts of stats that show, but I know numerous entrepreneurs who say the biggest limiter on their growth, I literally spoke to a large national automotive company about two years ago, and their top guy got up and said, our growth must be limited. Well, we must taper our growth because we cannot find people willing to work hard. Oh man. That’s tough. But here’s the thing, is that you, if you are an alpha, if you’re an aggressive, if you are a achiever, if you are a doer, if you are an unreasonable man or woman, you’re gonna discover that you’re gonna get ahead because they’re comparing you to bottom feeders. So they’re saying, hey, I mean, you’re getting compared. It’s saying you versus this. So you’re looking right here. You know, this is and I don’t mean to be too, too, you know, graphic or too gross or too, you know, I don’t want to be I don’t want to use I don’t want to use bathroom humor to get ahead in life. You know, I’ll use it when I can. I’m talking to third graders. They look I’m doing public speaking events to third graders. They love this stuff. But here we go. Are you big with that group? The third grade? Well, Thrive’s big for the third grade people with credit cards. But the thing is, is that the whole apple thing here, this apple looks pretty tasty. I think I’ll have that. I want that. You want an apple? I want an apple. I’m hungry. This right here is a steaming pile of crap. Don’t want it. OK, makes sense. So, Carp, be thankful for them. I really did that last example. I followed your logic completely. Like, apples versus steaming piles of crap. Yeah, the main logical sense. Steaming piles of crap. Steaming. I love it. So principle number three here. We can move on, because this is perfect. You’ve kind of explained to us that we need to be thankful for these bottom feeders. Absolutely. And it should affect our mindset. And again, we’re trying to help you get into that top 5% club. You want to be thankful for the feces who eat the feces. And again, I apologize. Again, I don’t know what else to do. Principle number three here. This is perspective. Giraffes and turtles. Giraffes and turtles. That’s the third principle. And I think if we just ended the episode now you might be confused. Clay, explain a little bit to us what is this principle of giraffes and turtles. First off, my main man T.D. Jakes is the one who came up with this. T.D. Jakes is a phenomenal educator, author, just awesome guy. But T.D. Jakes, he writes for he’s a contributing author. He’s teamed up with Oprah on projects. He’s just a fabulous, fabulous, fabulous minister and educator, he’s great. Well, he says that a giraffe, it’s coming through the, you know, it’s coming through, it’s got the, this is a giraffe, you know, just working. This is a giraffe, he’s kind of coming through here and he’s, you know, he’s got the little spots. And a giraffe sees right here. He sees, this is his perspective. What is he looking over? He’s over these trees. Okay. So this giraffe is up here, and there’s trees everywhere. But this giraffe, he is able to, this is his perspective, is up here. He sees, this is what he sees, he sees the birds in the sky, he sees the trees, he sees the sun, he sees all of this. He just sees this whole world up here, and he just, this is his perspective. Now down here at the bottom is a turtle. And a turtle sees its perspective. It sees dirt. It sees snakes. It sees mud. It sees insects. The giraffe sees birds. The giraffe sees the sun. The turtle maybe have never, maybe, many turtles have probably never seen the sun. He sees the birds, the sun. He sees the sky. He sees the leaves on the trees. The turtles probably never even seen The trees but the thing is is it’s all about perspective So don’t hate and get frustrated when somebody can’t see the same things you see But when somebody when they’re going through something right now. Maybe they’re having, just like my dad, my dad’s fighting stage 4, you know, cancer when he had stage 4 cancer. Well, imagine you see a guy with stage 4 cancer coming into your restaurant and he looks upset. The other day, the lady at the DMV looked super upset. I found out she just had major spinal surgery. When you see, if you’ve got major spinal surgery and pain going up and down your body all day, you probably are going to see things from a different perspective. It doesn’t give you license or permission to do it. I’m just trying to help you understand that perspective. But you want to raise your level of expectation, of thought, of thinking, of your just overall, you want to raise your overall life expectancy level, and you want to begin to think like a giraffe and get out of that turtle thought. I love that. I’ve got a notable quotable here that supports this even further. This is from Harvey McKay, seven-time New York Times bestselling author. He says, when you wake up every day, you have two choices. You can either be positive or negative, an optimist or a pessimist. I choose to be an optimist. It’s all a matter of perspective. So you’re saying the turtle, with his perspective of the dirt and, you know, probably the feces, everything that he sees, the mud, those little things throw him off because he can’t see the big picture. That may make him upset, and that keeps him in kind of a pessimistic mindset. And furthermore, the giraffe can’t even see what the turtle sees. Right. You know, so it’s interesting. Doesn’t even concern himself with what’s happening. And I’ll give you an example. The other day I came to work and someone said, hey, somebody’s parking out front of our building right now. And I put an orange sticker on their car. What are we going to do about it? And I was like, same thing I do about it every day. Nothing. Is there a car out there? Because that’s a turtle thought. Yeah, you’re going to maybe focus on something else. It doesn’t matter. I could spend my entire… I mean, I have a meeting. I’m trying to… I have a meeting with a very important, this particular day, I had a meeting with a very important capital partner for Thrive, and the guy that I honor and look up to, and I had a lunch meeting with him, or I literally was going to be late to the meetings, I’m literally being, like, hey, before you go, I just want you to know, there is a car in front of the building with a sticker, it’s a huge problem, stop everything, Thrivers across the world are saying, dear Thrive, there is a car parked in front of your building and we need to stop it or this isn’t gonna work. But because of their perspective as a turtle, that seemed like a big problem. You said, well, what’s gonna stop my life? Yeah, you gotta be a giraffe. Yeah, be a giraffe. Be a giraffe. So do you have any, I guess, practical action steps for us here that apply to any of these principles. The ones that we’ve covered here is, you know, we define kind of what the top 5% was, what that looks like. Make your goals, write them down. Okay, we did that. Write down those goals, physically write them down. The second one was be thankful for CARP. Yeah, don’t be upset at them. I mean, I think it’s, I mean, I, just an example, I wasn’t mad at the person. Yeah. I’ve had to learn that. I was like, hey, you know what? I honestly, this is what I said to the person, I said, hey, I appreciate you noticing that. I can honestly say right now, though, the focus today is we have a very important meeting. We need to have all of our documents organized. We need to be ready. We need to be mentally present there. What’s the worst case scenario that would happen if we didn’t do anything about the car? Well, I guess it would just be out there. Like, yeah, so let’s just move on. Let’s focus on it. You know what I mean? So I’m not mad. You have to be thankful that there’s some people who need to be educated. So you might be working right now next to a guy in your office. Again, if you will just do this for me. If you’ll just duck. If you’ll get down there and you’ll just sort of duck down. If you’ll duck, he can see it. Right now he can’t watch the episode. Just duck down. Because this isn’t for you. It’s for the other people. It’s not you. It’s for other people. If you’re working with a guy who’s just weird and hateful, don’t worry about it. Just be thankful for him because it makes you look great in comparison. Good. And then the last one that we talked about, the third principle, was perspective. Yeah. Giraffes, turtles, and your giraffe. Make sure you’re thinking like a giraffe. If you are right now thinking like a turtle, it’s okay. But you need to go ahead and begin to think higher thoughts. Think about big goals. Think about big dreams, big achievement. That’s how you do it. I love it. Clay, I appreciate you. Thank you so much, my friend. JT, do you know what time it is? Um, 410. It’s TiVo time in Tulsa, Rosalim, baby! Hello, I’m Michael Levine, and I’m talking to you right now from the center of Hollywood, California, where I have represented over the last 35 years 58 Academy Award winners, 34 Grammy Award winners, 43 New York Times bestsellers. I’ve represented a lot of major stars, and I’ve worked with a lot of major companies. And I think I’ve learned a few things about what makes them work and what makes them not work. Now, why would a man living in Hollywood, California, in the beautiful, sunny weather of L.A., come to Tulsa? Because last year I did it, and it was damn exciting. Clay Clark has put together an exceptional presentation, really life-changing and I’m looking forward to seeing you then. I’m Michael Levine. I’ll see you in Tulsa. Thrivetime show two-day interactive business workshops are the world’s highest rated and most reviewed business workshops because we teach you what you need to know to grow. You can learn the proven 13 point business systems that Dr. Zellner and I have used over and over to start and grow successful companies. We get into the specifics, the specific steps on what you need to do to optimize your website. We’re going to teach you how to fix your conversion rate. We’re going to teach you how to do a social media marketing campaign that works. How do you raise capital? How do you get a small business loan? We teach you everything you need to know here during a two day, 15 hour workshop. It’s all here for you. You work every day in your business, but for two days you can escape and work on your business and build these proven systems so now you can have a successful company that will produce both the time freedom and the financial freedom that you deserve. You’re going to leave energized, motivated, but you’re also going to leave empowered. The reason why I built these workshops is because as an entrepreneur, I always wish that I had this. And because there wasn’t anything like this, I would go to these motivational seminars with no money down, real estate, Ponzi scheme, get motivated seminars, and they would never teach me anything. It was like you went there and you paid for the big chocolate Easter bunny, but inside of it, it was a hollow nothingness. And I wanted the knowledge, and they’re like, oh, but we’ll teach you the knowledge after our next workshop. And the great thing is we have nothing to upsell. At every workshop, we teach you what you need to know. There’s no one in the back of the room trying to sell you some next big get-rich-quick, walk-on-hot-coals product. It’s literally we teach you the brass tacks, the specific stuff that you need to know to learn how to start and grow a business. I encourage you to not believe what I’m saying, but I want you to Google the Z66 auto auction. I want you to Google elephant in the room. Look at Robert Zellner and Associates. Look them up and say, are they successful because they’re geniuses or are they successful because they have a proven system? When you do that research, you will discover that the same systems that we use in our own business can be used in your business. Come to Tulsa, book a ticket, and I guarantee you it’s going to be the best business workshop ever and we’re going to give you your money back if you don’t loan us. We’ve built this facility for you and we’re excited to see it. And now you may be thinking, what does it actually cost to attend an in-person two-day interactive Thrive Time Show business workshop? Well, good news, the tickets are $250 or whatever price that you can afford. What? Yes, they’re $250 or whatever price you can afford. I grew up without money and I know what it’s like to live without money. So if you’re out there today and you want to attend our in-person two-day interactive business workshop, all you got to do is go to Thrivetimeshow.com to request those tickets. And if you can’t afford $250, we have scholarship pricing available to make it affordable for you. I learned at the Academy in Kings Point, New York, acta non verba. Today I’m broadcasting from Phoenix, Arizona, not Scottsdale, Arizona. They’re close, but they’re completely different worlds. And I have a special guest today. Definition of intelligence is if you agree with me, you’re intelligent. And so this gentleman is very intelligent. I’ve done this show before also, but very seldom do you find somebody who lines up on all counts. And so Mr. Clay Clark is a friend of a good friend, Eric, Eric Trump, but we’re also talking about money, bricks, and how screwed up the world can get in a few and a half hour. So Clay Clark is a very intelligent man and there’s so many ways we could take this thing. But I thought since you and Eric are close, Trump, what were you saying about what Trump can’t, what Donald, who is my age, and I can say or cannot say. Well, first of all, I have to honor you, sir. I want to show you what I did to one of your books here. There’s a guy named Jeremy Thorn, who was my boss at the time. I was 19 years old, working at Faith Highway. I had a job at Applebee’s, Target, and DirecTV. And he said, have you read this book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad? And I said, no. And my father, may he rest in peace, he didn’t know these financial principles. So I started reading all of your books and really devouring your books. And I went from being an employee to self-employed to the business owner to the investor. And I owe a lot of that to you. And I just want to take a moment to tell you, thank you so much for allowing me to achieve success. And I’ll tell you all about Eric Trump. I just want to tell you, thank you, sir, for changing my life. Well, not only that, Clay, you know, thank you, but you’ve become an influencer. You know, more than anything else, you’ve evolved into an influencer where your word has more and more power. So that’s why I congratulate you on becoming. Because as you know, there’s a lot of fake influencers out there too, or bad influencers. Anyway, I’m glad you and I agree so much and thanks for reading my books. That’s the greatest thrill for me today. Not thrill, but recognition is when people, young men especially, come up and say, I read your book, changed my life, I’m doing this, I’m doing this, I’m doing this. learned at the academy at King’s Point in New York.
