Get ready to enter the Thrivetime Show! We started from the bottom, now we’re here We started from the bottom, now we’re on the top Teaching you the systems to get what we got Cullen Dixon’s on the hooks, I’ve written the books He’s bringing some wisdom and the good looks As the father of five, that’s why I’m alive So if you see my wife and kids, please tell them hi It’s C and Z up on your radio And now 3, 2, 1, here we go! We started from the bottom, now we’re here. We started from the bottom. All right, Thrive Nation, on today’s show, we’re joined here with Matt Klein, the franchise brand developer of Oxifresh.com, O-X-I, fresh.com, a brand based out of Denver, Colorado. And I’m gonna have Matt tell you a little bit, folks, about the ongoing systems that have to be done on a daily basis behind the scenes to make the Oxifresh Marketing Ultimate Sales Machine work. There are things that have to be done on a daily basis that make the Oxifresh marketing machine work. Now if you buy an Oxifresh franchise you don’t have to do these things because they’re going to be done for you, but I want to walk you through what you need to do behind the scenes if you are a business owner. So Matt Klein, welcome on to the Thrived Time Show. How are you sir? I’m doing well. Alright brother, we have Thanksgiving. A lot of people took time off, but the Oxifresh marketing engine never stopped. And so I want to walk people through all the things that need to happen on a daily basis if you have a small business or a business of any size if you want your online marketing to work. So first off, you have to have a website that’s always optimized. Now Matt, there’s tools like SEMrush and Moz.com and every month you have to pull a search engine report. You have a big team that does this at Oxifresh, but you have to pull a report and you have to look for all the updates because Google’s always updating, Apple’s always updating, all of the search engines are always updating, the social media platforms are always updating. Matt, why can’t the team at Oxifresh stop? Why do they have to update the website every month? Because Google has a certain set of rules that they live by, right? They give more weight to some things than others. It could be like website speed, or it could be like the amount of reviews that you get, or it could be something called directories, which are like a Yelp, or a Bing, or a Yahoo. And they give credit to certain things when they’re updated, like your website being updated, the content on it, if your information’s on all the directories, at the speed of your website. So our approach is, if we can stay on top of every one of those things that Google values. We’re always going to be in a scenario where we are going to be at the top of those pages because if any one of those things is ignored or slips up or it’s not updated, you risk the chance of somebody else updating it and you not. So then they can take over your spot if you’re at the top. So it just ensures that we have the best opportunity to get the most amount of eyeballs by being at the top of Google pages by actually following the rules of Google. Now, again, just to be very clear on the website, step one, and it’s an event, you have to have a website that is highly optimized. That has to happen. Now, again, with our coaching clients, we will build those sites for you and optimize those. But if you own an OxyPress franchise, you don’t have to deal with it. And the way franchising works is Matt Klein, at least the OxyPress team that Matt Klein works with, they make a percentage of the revenue that you make. So their goals are aligned with your goals. You want your locations to be successful. So let’s do a search right now. I’m going to do a search for Jefferson City Carpet Cleaning. Now, I’m not saying this is the only market that we should look up. I’m just giving an example. Jefferson City is a city, if you’re in Oklahoma, you might be familiar with it. It’s in Missouri. And Jefferson City, it’s a pretty competitive market. You got this company called Juniors Pro Clean, Doug’s, Kim Dry. And then you got Oxifresh coming up number one in the search results. And then you see Oxifresh coming up again in those search results. Now, Matt, that right there is the difference between success and not success. I mean, if you go down to page two, page three, page four, there’s no business there. And so Matt, again, every month you guys optimize the website at Oxifresh, but you do require, you do ask for the local business owner to gather objective reviews from their actual customers. Why can’t anybody out there, whether they own an Oxifresh or if they own their own business, why can’t they ever stop gathering objective Google reviews? For the same reason, right? I mean, if you go onto Google and let’s say you’re a consumer, and you have three companies to choose from, and you see that they each have 100 reviews, and the reviews from all your competitors are within the last week or maybe even a month, but your reviews aren’t from six months ago or maybe a year ago, right? You don’t look like you’re a company that’s in business, you certainly don’t look like you’re a company that’s trying. When I’m comparing that to other companies that have current reviews from peers of yours, it seems like a better opportunity. So one thing is Google will actually drop you and where you rank if you’re not getting Google reviews consistently But to the consumer can see that if they go and look at the reviews And it’s six months plus since you’ve had a review you look like you’re either closed You’re not or you’re not doing what you need to be doing to be to maintain their business Now folks on part two of today’s show I’m going to introduce you to a man by the name of Tim Whaley and Tim Whaley Just a phenomenal success driver. I’ve worked with Tim for years and he’s based in Chicago and he’s a wedding photographer. And he just had somebody reach out to him and they found out that he’s the top photographer in Chicago. He’s doing many, many weddings a year. And this is very uncommon in the wedding space. Aaron, he had somebody offer him a lot of money to buy the company. Oh, interesting. Aaron, this is great. When the person reached out to buy his business, business? Yeah. Do you know that they wanted to know, does he have an ongoing process and a documented system and that most of the value of the business was based upon the fact that he had a system and it wasn’t just some rando who took photos? Yeah, I’m sure that that’s exactly what they wanted. If they’re gonna invest their money in it, they want to know that there’s a backbone to the business and that there’s something to actually purchase there other than a human being. Let me tell you this, Kirby Puckett, the baseball player back in the day, he was on the Twins and there was a time in his career where Kirby Puckett was the highest paid baseball player in professional baseball. This is Kirby Puckett, he played for the Minnesota Twins. There he is, Kirby Puckett. And there was a time when he was the highest paid player in Major League Baseball. And he got a huge contract. And let me tell you something, my client, who just sold his business, he got a huge payout. And you know why? Because he had a system in place for his marketing. It wasn’t just a dude with a camera that people liked. He reached out to us years ago. But Matt, every single month we had to optimize his website. He had to get those reviews. Now Matt, other things, every single month, it turns out the internet is always changing. The internet itself has changed. So for anybody out there who’s over the age of 35, there was a time when you remember the computer lab at school. Remember the computer lab? Oh yeah, I do. Let me take you into the computer lab for a second. We’re going to go. So if you’re over the age of 35, you remember this. There was a game called Oregon Trail. Matt was born yesterday, so he probably doesn’t remember this. Matt, do you remember Oregon Trail? I used to play it on a very old computer in my dad’s office, and I would just shoot things and run out of run out of all resources pretty quickly. Let me take people back to the game. This is a game where you know you’re a kid, you’re 12, you’re 13, the librarian was always in charge of the computer so now oh yeah the librarian and librarian would say hey guys, we’re gonna play an exciting game we’re gonna play a game called Oregon Trail and we’re like Oregon Trail? Oh, so that was the game. And the way it worked is you’d go up here, and you’d get to play. And they’d always ask you, how many wagon wheels do you want? Do you want to hunt? Oh, there we go. Do you want to cross the river? And this is the kind of sound effects you had. I mean, this was a hot game. This was cutting edge. Do you want to hunt? And this is the guy. And you could turn them around with your little arrows on the computer. And then, oh, come on. Don’t steal my thunder here. You’d hunt around. And Aaron, do you remember this? I do remember this. It was kind of the precursor to like a Sims game type of thing. I mean, this was hot. Look at this. This is so fun. I mean, this is… And you would do… And the thing was, the computer… Now, if you ever tried to like look up a picture of Tupac, and you would because you’re in a computer lab and you were 12. So you were like, oh man, I want to see Tupac. So you would go and you would type in Tupac. So you do a search Tupac Now you weren’t using Google, you know, you’re using you were using AOL and it would say you’ve got mail Oh, yeah, you’ve got mail. I know crap. I got mail and because it was pre spam You’d have like one email you had to put a disk in my guys start up to AOL. That’s how it was That’s way then you would you’d go you’d look up Tupac and you’d hit enter Because you were 12 and you would wait all day for this picture to come up. It would take like three and a half minutes to load one photo. And you would, I mean, you were waiting. And you had a CD. Remember the binder you had with all the CDs? Do you remember this? Oh, I do. Yeah, everyone had it. It would load like line by line as it’s like slowly revealing down the page. And you’re like, I think I know what this picture is, but I’m not sure. And what happened is because you weren’t allowed to have the All Eyes on Me album, that’s the only one that you had, you know, because you weren’t supposed to have it. Right. That’s the one you had. And so I’ll edit this, folks. But this is, see, you’re wearing the headphones. And you’ve got, remember the Walkman? Oh, yeah. That played the CDs. And your teacher’s like, what are you listening to over there? You’re like, nothing. I’m just trying to download a picture for my research project. And they’re just like, what are you working on? You say, I’m playing Oregon Trail. Can’t you see? And your teacher’s saying, why are you yelling at me? Are you listening to something? Your headphones are like, no I’m not listening to anything! And then your friends are gathering around like, dude are you listening to Tupac while playing Oregon Trail? And you’re going, I am! And they’re like, dude you are incredible! How is it that you are able to listen to Tupac? Because this is what you would do. You remember this Aaron? Oh I did, yeah. People were, I mean if you… Oh yeah, this is all pre-Christ here. But this is what you would do, you’d be playing, you’d be preaching, so you’d be… And so this is what you do, and your teacher’s like, What do you want to get out of this? Where the f*** are you going? I’m yelling, I’m having a hard time hearing you play the organ trail. I think you had that one guy in your class, because you’re 12, public school, he’s not sipping on bottled water, let me just tell you, this guy’s not sipping on bottled water. He’s like, you want a sip of the bottled water? And you’re playing Oregon Trail. And then all of a sudden, we were like 16, 18, 17-something. All of a sudden, nobody, nobody’s playing Oregon Trail. You remember that? We got too cool. Because the computers changed. Matt, they changed. They changed. And now AOL’s not a thing. Then Google happened. Then the smartphones happened. And Matt, if you don’t stay on top of those monthly updates at Oxifresh.com, what would happen if you guys took your hand off the wheel, took your foot off the gas, stopped paying attention to the road at Oxifresh for even 60 days? What would happen to the rank of the search engine of the website at Oxifresh.com? Yeah, you’d slowly start getting less and less appearances on Google, you would drop from maybe like the first and initially you might drop to the third, which you say, okay, I’m still in the top three, but then we could drop to fifth or eighth on Google. You basically lose all ability to be seen by your consumers and then you essentially become Oregon Trail, right? You saw it, it looked really outdated and then no one plays anymore, you don’t get seen anymore, your competitors take over the spot you used to have, right? Your market share goes extremely down and you start to look and say, why? It’s exactly because you didn’t follow the system. Yeah. You become the Coleco football of the carpet cleaning. The who? Coleco football. Now, see, I’m a little older than both of you. Who’s that? Coleco football. C-O-L-E-C-O. Football. This was a hot game? Oh yeah, it was a little handheld. There it is. Oh wow! Wow! This is incredible. That was pre-Oregon Trail right there. Dude, I don’t know why people weren’t still playing that thing. That thing looks hot! It was little dashed lines that you moved them side to side and little blips going across the screen that were all red blips. You know, the other day I went to Blockbuster. I saw one, you know, they still had the sign up there. Oh, yeah. And I went, I knocked on the door. I didn’t see anybody, anybody was working there. You know, and I was like, why, why is this place so empty? You don’t need to rent videos. There’s one, there’s one Blockbuster that’s still left. And now it’s become sort of like a museum. Matt, have you heard about this? You still get charged a fee if you don’t. I mean I haven’t been a blockbuster in a long time. There’s none around us. This is the last blockbuster in the world. This is their commercial I ran a few years ago. This is the last one in the world. Here we go. It’s a homemade commercial. They made it themselves. Seriously, this is their commercial. I’m not kidding. It’s a real commercial. Looks like the ending of Terminator. And the internet streams no more. We’ll still be here. I mean, they allow you to rent the VHS as well. Yeah, you can still rent it. So it’s the world’s last blockbuster. Now, and again, it only survived because somebody had the rational thought that they’re going to make it into like a kind of a reminiscent old school kind of a thing. It’s located right here in Bend, Oregon. And somebody who worked at this actually came to one of our Reawaken America tour events as long as I know about it. Wow. But I’m just saying seriously though, if you want to make your business become irrelevant, you can stop optimizing. But if you want your business to be successful, you’ve got to optimize your website. So let’s recap the things you have to do every month. One, your website has to maintain mobile compliance, okay, or what you might call Google compliance or canonical compliance. Two, you’ve got to get Google reviews. You can never stop getting Google reviews. Third thing you got to do is you got to add content to the website, or you’ll fall like a rock from the search engine results. Fourth, you got to track the conversion rate on your online ads. You’ve got to track. Fifth, you’ve got a mystery shop. You have to look at your competition every month to make sure that you are keeping up with these people. And, Matt, if somebody buys an Oxifresh franchise, you do that for them so they can focus on just cleaning carpets. So if I buy an Oxifresh franchise, my role, correct me if I’m wrong, I need to clean carpets and train people to clean carpets. But meanwhile, you handle all the marketing and you run the call center. Am I getting something wrong there, Matt? No, and the way I would say is we create all of the marketing for you. You choose which budget you wanna pick and you’re responsible for the reviews. But even down to what you said, which was very important, actually monitoring your success through KPIs, right? Being able to see how your jobs are coming, where they’re coming from, what your average ticket is, right, all those things are important. Every single morning I wake up, I see exactly where I stand on all of my Google pages, so that I know how to approach what goals I wanna get done that day. Because if I look, and I, because it happens, right, you can be doing a good job, you can still drop. And so what I’ll do is I’ll have all of my guys attack that one market, because I know every day where they rank, so you need to just have a level of understanding of your business by paying attention to it and actually giving a tangible, like, daily task to do something about it. If you don’t have all those tools to show you what’s going on, if you don’t know what to look for, which I would argue that most small businesses in the service industry don’t, right? To me, the value is, is us teaching you how to run that business and stay on top of things that you can control while we control the things that most owners will never control. Yeah. Now again, folks, if you’re out there today and you say, you know what, I want to buy a franchise that’ll take care of all that for me so that I don’t have to do it myself. I would highly recommend you look into getting an Oxifresh franchise. You can learn more about it today by going to Thrivetimeshow.com forward slash Oxifresh Thrivetimeshow.com forward slash Oxifresh or if you want to learn how to do all the marketing yourself for your own business you can attend one of our in-person Thrivetimeshow workshops. Our next one is coming up here in just a matter of days and the way our events work is every single event we do is sold out. As of right now, we have four tickets remaining for our upcoming in-person workshop. I don’t know when you’re gonna hear this podcast, but we do them every two months. So again, you can learn more about our in-person workshops at thrivetimeshow.com, thrivetimeshow.com. If you wanna learn more about an Oxifresh franchise, just go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash Oxifresh. And if you want to date Matt Klein, as many people do, he’s not available. He’s married. Matt, are you celebrating your second year anniversary? Are you celebrating your second year together? How long have you been together with your dream woman there, your dream weaver? Three years now. Three years! Wow, Matt, that’s impressive. I can’t tell you how many people reach out to me and say, enough about the OxyFresh. Is he available? I always say, no, he’s not, ladies, stop it. So Matt, if people want to reach out to you about an Oxifresh, it’s legitimately an Oxifresh, what’s the best way to get ahold of you? Yeah, you should go to, you know, Thrive Time Show and then you should fill out the form that they have on their website because that will give us information we need. It’ll give you automatically put it into the Drip email campaign. You start learning about Oxifresh. We’ll automatically send you an email. We’ll automatically send you a text saying, hey, when’s a good time to talk? And we’ll just open up with some dialogue, I’ll learn a little bit more about you, you’ll learn a bit more about OxyFresh, understand what your goals are, and make sure they’re aligned with what’s possible. We’ll just go step by step, right? The typical, from the day one to becoming a franchise is anywhere between 60 and 90 days usually. Yep. And so we can get you through everything, from how you’re gonna fund the business, to where you’re actually gonna run it, to what some of your goals are, how you hire people, like what are the very first steps? So we’ll walk you through every single step and we’ve done this, you know, hundreds of times. So yeah, we just gotta start with the evaluation process. Now Matt, how much money does it cost to buy an Oxifresh franchise? I know most people do finance the business. They do get a loan, almost like you’re getting a car loan. But again, how much money does it cost to buy an Oxifresh franchise? Yeah, so it’s 45,000 upfront to become a franchise. It’s 40,000 if you’re a veteran. So we give discounts to veterans. In that, you will receive your protected territory, all the equipment you need for one setup for carpet and upholstery, three months worth of products. It’ll also include your seven year agreement plus the training where I’ll fly you to Colorado for four days, okay? And then we typically want best practices once you’ve done that. You wanna have access to about 25,000 in operating capital just to get you off the ground, right, operating, cashflow positive, so your business is self-sufficient. And so we’ll walk through all of those little details too. Someone has to be a veteran of the military. That can’t be a veteran of Oregon Trail, right? That’s not- Right, veteran of the United States military or one side of it, but Oregon Trail, I mean- Aaron, you know what I mean? Somebody watching is going, I’m a veteran of Oregon Trail. I played it yesterday. OK. Matt Klein, I really do appreciate you, sir. Thank you for being here. We’ll talk to you soon again, folks. Matt Klein is very, very married. Take care, Matt. Well, Thrive Nation, we are the Thrive Time Show. What we do is we help businesses grow their business owners to grow their businesses. The purpose is to create time freedom and financial freedom. And we’ve had a longtime client that we’ve worked with. And this is sort of like our exit interview because he’s actually exited the business. And so he’s at the other end of the rainbow, or he got to the top of the mountain, or he hit it or he hit his big goal. And I’m honored to call him a friend and a longtime client. Tim Whaley, welcome to the Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir? I’m doing outstanding, Clay. Thank you for having me on. Can you tell everybody, how did you first hear about what we do in terms of business coaching? I first heard of you through your podcast, actually. So I started listening, was very intrigued. Actually, you had built and sold businesses in the industry that I was in. So it seemed like a natural fit to inquire about coaching. Yeah. And once we connected and you did your, I’m not sure if it was an onboarding interview or it was more of a, you were going to determine whether or not we were a good fit. I think that was it. But once we did that, I was hooked and was really hoping that you would take me on as a client, which you did. Now, before I met you, I mean, you’d been in business for a long time and one would say you’re probably the dominant resource or one of the top providers in your industry before we even met. Could you tell the listeners how implementing the Dream 100 system impacted your business growth? Oh my gosh. So within just a few short years, it doubled our revenue, plain and simple. So Dream 100 was by far the secret sauce for our success and really the reason why I was able to exit my business ahead of schedule. So just a brilliant program, makes total sense. As a company, it’s one of the few marketing slash advertising outlets that you have total control over. It’s not like you’re on Facebook, which owns Facebook, or Google, which owns Google. But, I mean, you own the system. You make it work, and great things happen. Now with the Dream 100, you have to identify the vendors that you want to refer you or the prospects that you want to refer. You have to identify the ideal and likely buyers that you want to refer you. And then you have to reach out to them consistently. And you guys have done a phenomenal job at doing that. What were a couple of the challenges of persistently reaching out to people to get them to refer you guys to a business? Well, a couple things. One, you just really have to find the right fit. You have to find the right employee or employees. Because really, when you’re going out there, you need somebody who’s obviously great at building relationships. And that’s a lot of different people. But what I found is you also just need a hunter killer. So, it’s not necessarily somebody who’s very personable and great with people, but somebody with those qualities, but also just has a, like I said, a hunter killer, just wants to, has a drive to bring business in. And you find that person and they just make it happen. And we were fortunate enough to find a couple great employees who were just very good at that. And now that you have sold the business, you’re going to stay on as an advisor to make sure that the brand is successful and that sort of thing. What does it feel like to be on the other side of the rainbow or to be at the top of the mountain or to be on the other side of selling a business that you started so many years ago? Well, Clay, it’s only been six weeks, so obviously mixed feelings there. But if I had to put it in one word, I would have to say freedom. Okay. Yeah. So, it feels pretty darn good, and my wife and I are very excited. Now, obviously, we’re still helping the new ownership transition and whatnot, so there’s stuff we’re doing and stuff to be done, but overall, when you’ve been hitting it hard three years and then all of a sudden you don’t have to. It feels pretty darn good, not gonna lie. Now Robert Kiyosaki, you know, the best-selling author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, I recently interviewed him and he had me on his show and it’s been kind of fun to connect with this guy who wrote the Rich Dad Poor Dad series and it’s just fun to connect with him and he’s been talking borderline obsessively on his show recently about it’s not what people say, it’s what they do. You need to watch what people do, not what they say. And I think a big thing about having a business coach or a personal trainer if you’re into fitness is if you’re into fitness, you need to have a nutritional plan, you need to have a workout plan, and then you need someone to hold you accountable. And if you’re a business owner, you need to have a business plan, you need to have weekly actions that you need to implement, and then you need to have some accountability. How has having a business consultant or a coach to guide you down the path, how has that impacted you? Tremendously. So there’s a running joke between my wife and I. I will often say I’m the most consistently inconsistent person you want to meet. So, historically, I’ve been the guy who starts this, goes for a little while, and then, you know, is, sees a, you know, I’m like a squirrel, right? I see the next great thing, and I’ll go after that for a while, and then, so, I’m an artist, right? I’m a photographer first, and, you know, business guy second, I guess, so you have helped corral my artist brain. And having, you know, the weekly accountability calls and the action plan has definitely helped me stay focused on what needs to be focused on. So yeah, it’s been life changing. Nothing short of life changing. Now I wanna pull up something real quick and get your thoughts on this because you and I have worked together, I think for about, what, three years? Or is it, how long did we work together there before you exited the business? Do you know? We started in 2019. So 2019, okay. So we’ve worked together for quite a while there. And so 2019, wow, so that’s almost five years, four and a half years or so. But if we do a search for carpet cleaning quotes, I’ve worked with one particular brand for 14 years, I think almost 15 now, and they have 271,000 Google reviews. So for 14 consecutive years, I’ve been talking to the same ownership about, you have to gather objective Google reviews from your ideal and likely buyers. You have to get reviews. After you clean the carpet, you have to gather video reviews and Google reviews. And we talk about it every week. And it’s just like bamboo. I keep coming back every week. I just, you can’t kill it. I come back every week talking about the reviews. And in a world now where people go online to look stuff up, this has been a powerful tool for Oxifresh.com. It’s grown from a handful of locations now to 500 plus locations. How has gathering objective Google reviews and video reviews impacted your sales process? Well, I feel like it’s a one-two punch, Clay. So Dream 100 and the reviews work hand in hand. So the majority of our business comes from the Dream 100. But, you know, that’s one referral source. So our couples will be referred by, you know, venues, but they want to check us out. So they’re going to go online and look for our reviews. So, you know, not only do you have to have a ton of reviews, but you have to have a ton of five-star reviews. And so, the referrals plus the social proof on Google brings them in. Final questions I have for you, then I’ll be done harassing you here, is, you know, you now have got all the systems, the scripts, the website, the ads that work, the Dream 100 system going. And so to give people some clarity, you now have a turnkey marketing system in place. I mean, you have a Dream 100 system that works, you now have an online advertising program that works, you now have a sales process that works. It’s all documented, it’s all systemized for the new owner. So what would you say for anybody out there that is maybe thinking about coming to one of our in-person workshops or scheduling a free 13-point assessment with myself or a member of our team? What would you say to somebody who’s kind of on the fence about maybe coming to a workshop or scheduling a free 13 point assessment? Get off this fence. Just get off the fence, bottom line. You know, you’ve helped make my company sellable, right? So those systems is exactly what made our company attractive to the buyer. They were looking for a company that was highly successful, that they could then take and scale. And our business qualified because of what we’ve done over the last five years. And so yeah, I would never, I would not hesitate. I’ve told anybody who’s ever, you know, asked me about my coaching relationship with you and your organization, I said, I wouldn’t hesitate. Never in a million years. You have literally changed my life as a result of what you’ve taught me. You know, you have got to come to Tulsa one of these days here. So I know you guys are gonna enjoy your retirement or whatever it is you’re doing. But at some point, if you ever get the bug and you ever start a new thing or you’re ever in the Tulsa area, I really wanna see you guys. You have my cell phone number, we can talk whenever. But I just wanna tell you, it’s been an honor working with you. And it’s been so exciting to help you hit your goals. And I know you’ve worked 30-plus years to go on this dream vacation lifestyle that you’ve built. What would you say to anybody out there that has a business and they feel, my final question for you, they feel overwhelmed by all the systems they have to build, and they’re not at the top of the mountain. They haven’t sold the business yet. It isn’t systemized. And all they see is perpetual chaos, what would you say to that person? Just take the next step, right? Every journey begins with the next step and that next step should definitely be contacting you guys. If they just do that, the rest will take care of itself. You make sure of that, so. Tim, it’s an honor serving you again. I appreciate you very much and don’t be a stranger there, sir. You got it. Thank you, Clay. Take care, Chief. Bye. The Thrive Time Show two-day interactive business workshops are the world’s highest rated and most reviewed business workshops because we teach you what you need to know to grow. You can learn the proven 13-point business system that Dr. Zellner and I have used over and over to start and grow successful companies. When we get into the specifics, the specific steps on what you need to do to optimize your website. We’re going to teach you how to fix your conversion rate. We’re going to teach you how to do a social media marketing campaign that works. How do you raise capital? How do you get a small business loan? We teach you everything you need to know here during a two-day, 15-hour workshop. It’s all here for you. You work every day in your business, but for two days you can escape and work on your business and build these proven systems so now you can have a successful company that will produce both the time freedom and the financial freedom that you deserve. You’re gonna leave energized, motivated, but you’re also gonna leave empowered. The reason why I built these workshops is because as an entrepreneur, I always wish that I had this. And because there wasn’t anything like this, I would go to these motivational seminars, no money down, real estate, Ponzi scheme, get motivated seminars, and they would never teach me anything. It was like you went there and you paid for the big chocolate Easter bunny, but inside of it, it was a hollow nothingness. And I wanted the knowledge, and they’re like, oh, but we’ll teach you the knowledge after our next workshop. And the great thing is we have nothing to upsell. At every workshop, we teach you what you need to know. There’s no one in the back of the room trying to sell you some next big get rich quick, walk on hot coals product. It’s literally, we teach you the brass tacks, the specific stuff that you need to know to learn how to start and grow a business. And I encourage you to not believe what I’m saying. And I want you to Google the Z66 auto auction. I want you to Google elephant in the room. Look at Robert Zellner and Associates. Look them up and say, are they successful because they’re geniuses? Or are they successful because they have a proven system? When you do that research, you will discover that the same systems that we use in our own business can be used in your business. Come to Tulsa, book a ticket, and I guarantee you it’s gonna be the best business workshop ever, and we’re gonna give you your money back if you don’t love it. We’ve built this facility for you, and we’re excited to see it. And now you may be thinking, what does it actually cost to attend an in-person two-day interactive Thrive Time Show business workshop? Well, good news, the tickets are $250 or whatever price that you can afford. What? Yes, they’re $250 or whatever price you can afford. I grew up without money and I know what it’s like to live without money, so if you’re out there today and you want to attend our in-person two-day interactive business workshop, all you’ve got to do is go to thrivetimeshow.com to request those tickets, and if you can’t afford $250, we have scholarship pricing available to make it affordable for you. The number of new customers that we’ve had is up 411% over last year. We are Jared and Jennifer Johnson. We own Platinum Pest and Lawn and are located in Owasso, Oklahoma. And we have been working with Thrive for business coaching for almost a year now. Yeah, so what we wanna do is we wanna share some wins with you guys that we’ve had by working with Thrive. First of all, we’re on the top page of Google now. I just want to let you know what type of accomplishment this is. Our competition, Orkin, Terminix, they’re both $1.3 billion companies. They both have 2,000 to 3,000 pages of content attached to their website. So to basically go from virtually nonexistent on Google to up on the top page is really saying something. But it’s come by being diligent to the systems that Thrive has, by being consistent and diligent on doing podcasts, and staying on top of those podcasts to really help with getting up on, with their listing and ranking there with Google. And also we’ve been trying to get Google reviews, you know, asking our customers for reviews, and now we’re the highest rated and most reviewed Pest and Lawn company in the Tulsa area. And that’s really helped with our conversion rate. And the number of new customers that we’ve had is up 411% over last year. Wait, say that again. How much are we up? 411%. Okay, so 411% we’re up with our new customers. Amazing. Right. So not only do we have more customers calling in, we’re able to close those deals at a much higher rate than we were before. Right now, our closing rate is about 85%, and that’s largely due to, first of all, like our Google reviews that we’ve gotten. People really see that our customers are happy, but also, we have a script that we follow. And so when customers call in, they get all the information that they need. That script has been refined time and time again. It wasn’t a one and done deal. It was a system that we followed with Thrive in the refining process and that has obviously, the 411% shows that that system works. Yeah, so here’s a big one for you. So last week alone, our booking percentage was 91%. We actually booked more deals, more new customers last year than we did the first five months, or I’m sorry, we booked more deals last week than we did the first five months of last year from before we worked with Thrive. So again, we booked more deals last week than the first five months of last year. It’s incredible, but the reason why we have that success is by implementing the systems that Thrive has taught us and helped us out with. Some of those systems that we’ve implemented are group interviews. That way we’ve really been able to come up with a really great team. We’ve created and implemented checklists. Everything gets done and it gets done right. It creates accountability. We’re able to make sure that everything gets done properly both out in the field and also in our office. And also doing the podcast like Jared had mentioned that has really, really contributed to our success. But that, like I said, the diligence and consistency and doing those in that system has really, really been a big blessing in our lives. And also, you know, it’s really shown that we’ve gotten a success from following those systems. So, before working with Thrive, we were basically stuck. Really no new growth with our business. And we were in a rut, and we didn’t know… The last three years, our customer base had pretty much stayed the same. We weren’t shrinking, but we weren’t really growing either. Yeah, and so we didn’t really know where to go, what to do, how to get out of this rut that we’re in. But Thrive helped us with that. They implemented those systems, they taught us those systems, they taught us the knowledge that we needed in order to succeed. Now it’s been a grind, absolutely it’s been a grind this last year, but we’re getting those fruits from that hard work and the diligent effort that we’re able to put into it. So again, we were in a rut. Thrive helped us get out of that rut. And if you’re thinking about working with Thrive, quit thinking about it and just do it. Do the action and you’ll get the results. It will take hard work and discipline, but that’s what it’s gonna take in order to really succeed. So we just wanna give a big shout out to Thrive, a big thank you out there to Thrive. We wouldn’t be where we’re at now without their help. Hi, I’m Dr. Mark Moore. I’m a pediatric dentist. Through our new digital marketing plan, we have seen a marked increase in the number of new patients that we’re seeing every month, year over year. One month, for example, we went from 110 new patients the previous year to over 180 new patients in the same month. And overall, our average is running about 40 to 42% increase month over month, year over year. The group of people required to implement our new digital marketing plan is immense, starting with a business coach, videographers, photographers, web designers. Back when I graduated dental school in 1985, nobody advertised. The only marketing that was ethically allowed in everybody’s eyes was mouth-to-mouth marketing. By choosing to use the services, you’re choosing to use a proven turnkey marketing and coaching system that will grow your practice and get you the results that you are looking for. I went to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, graduated in 1983, and then I did my pediatric dental residency at Baylor College of Dentistry from 1983 to 1985. Hello, my name is Charles Colaw with Colaw Fitness. Today I want to tell you a little bit about Clay Clark and how I know Clay Clark. Clay Clark has been my business coach since 2017. He’s helped us grow from two locations to now six locations. We’re planning to do seven locations in seven years and then franchise. And Clay’s done a great job of helping us navigate anything that has to do with like running the business, building the systems, the checklists, the workflows, the audits, how to navigate lease agreements, how to buy property, how to work with brokers and builders. This guy is just amazing. This kind of guy has worked in every single industry. He’s written books with like Lee Crockerill, head of Disney, with the 40,000 cast members. He’s friends with like Mike Lindell. He does Reawaken America tours where he does these tours all across the country where 10,000 or more people show up to some of these tours. On the day-to-day, he does anywhere from about 160 companies. He’s at the top. He has a team of business coaches, videographers, and graphic designers, and web developers, and they run 160 companies every single week. So think of this guy with a team of business coaches running 160 companies. So in the weekly, he’s running 160 companies. Every six to eight weeks he’s doing reawaken America tours. Every six to eight weeks he’s also doing business conferences where 200 people show up and he teaches people a 13-step proven system that he’s done and worked with billionaires helping them grow their companies. So I’ve seen guys from startups go from startup to being multi-millionaires, teaching people how to get time freedom and financial freedom through the system. Critical thinking, document creation, making it, putting it into, organizing everything in their head to building it into a franchisable, scalable business. Like one of his businesses has like 500 franchises. That’s just one of the companies or brands that he works with. So, amazing guy, Elon Musk, kind of like smart guy. He kind of comes off sometimes as socially awkward, but he’s so brilliant and he’s taught me so much. When I say that, Clay is like, he doesn’t care what people think when you’re talking to him. He cares about where you’re going in your life and where he can get you to go. That’s what I like him most about him. He’s like a good coach. A coach isn’t just making you feel good all the time. A coach is actually helping you get to the best of you. Clay has been an amazing business coach. Through the course of that, we became friends. My most impressed with him is when I was shadowing him one time. We went into a business deal and listened to it. I got to shadow and listen to it. When we walked out, I knew that he could make millions on the deal. They were super excited about working with him. He told me, he’s like, I’m not going to touch it. I’m going to turn it down because he knew it was going to harm the common good of people in the long run. The guy’s integrity just really wowed me, brought tears to my eyes to see that this guy, his highest desire was to do what’s right. And anyways, just an amazing man. So anyways, impacted me a lot. He’s helped navigate any time I’ve gotten nervous or worried about how to run the company or navigating competition and an economy that’s like, I remember we got closed down for three months. closed down for three mon on how to stay open, how how to just survive throug lockdowns. I’m Rachel wit we just want to give a hu clay and Vanessa Clark. H with tip top canine. Just thank you to thrive 15. T life epic. We love you gu you and really just appre you’ve taken us. This is where we used to live a few years ago. This is our old neighborhood. See? It’s nice, right? So this is my old van and our old school marketing. And this is our old team. And by team, I mean it’s me and another guy. This is our new house with our new neighborhood. This is our new van with our new marketing, and this is our new team. We went from four to 14, and I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past, and they were all about helping Ryan sell better and just teaching sales, which is awesome, but Ryan is a really great salesman, so we didn’t need that. We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out into systems, into manuals and scripts, and actually build a team. So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to 10 locations in only a year. In October 2016, we grossed 13 grand for the whole month. Right now it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd, we’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month. And we still have time to go. We’re just thankful for you. Thankful for thrive and your mentorship. And we’re really thankful that you guys have helped us to grow a business that we run now instead of the business running us. Just thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Times a thousand.
